Imagine how many he'd have scored if he wasn't being hampered by bizzare tactics, playing as an attacking midfielder, and forced to feed lesser players instead of being his usual selfish self and taking more shots.

a Man U friend did say to me if only he had squared it to Sterling, we could of been in the Final. I replied if he saw it was Sterling, that was the reason he took the shot on, the accuracy of Sterling, just wasn't to accurate

i wouldn't trust Sterling to open a can of beans.

I’m really proud of Kane his a mental rock, he was by far the man of the match over the 90 min against Colombia he kept his cool, when we were under pressure he draws the foul time and time again, he never bit or showed any emotion, his mental strength is insane.

Harry Kane England fucking loves you.

Griezeman had four goals...3 pens and a shot from edge of the area which the Uruguay keeper made a complete mess of and let the ball through his hands.

Perhaps it's worth pointing out to Kane's detractors that Olivier Giroud led France's line throughout the WC scoring 0 goals on his way to becoming a WC winner. Well done Harry.

Other than injury spells has he not played solid football since about 2014/15? Southgate took him to the U21's then went to Euro's he played pretty much every game for Spurs.

No wonder he's looked leggy for a bit, I'd almost be tempted to give him a longer rest or not start him until the first game at NWHL (signings dependant)
Also I wonder if him not being the most naturally gifted player means when does have injury spells or form dips means it takes him longer to get that form back than others.

Kane could have had even more goals if he had been given two stonewall penalties v Tunisia

He wasn't even at his best, we know that as Spurs fans, yet he still won the golden boot. The real Kane would have bagged another 2 or 3 pretty easily

Fairly sure its for the person who scores the most goals in the tournament..I didnt realise it was now for who deserves it.
