I haven't seen that ITK. That's what I was suggesting, yes. Just based on the timing. We aren't going to be signing 3 strikers, are we: N'jie, Son and Berahino?
Only one is really a striker, other two can cover but not their best spot

Cult hero within 3 games... book it. Loved YP Lee's effort and professionalism, this guy will be ten times better.

Does this mean the gloom that the doom mongers were bringing after 2 games has temporarily lifted? Till 19:20 this evening anyway.

I think the prevailing wish here was "Gimme a reason, any reason, to look forward to the weekend." Regardless of the result today, this signing has helped.

Really happy with this signing but it still only leaves us with one out and out striker. Harry Kane is still in danger of having to play in almost every game unless we are going to play with a 'false no.9', a system we have not used to date. Still need another striker and a DM imo but cant see that happening now.

I agree. Just have a really good feeling about this guy. You pay top money for players that have the mentality to take their football to the next level, especially in times of difficulty...soldado (God bless him) didn't have that mentality, he was very much like Mario Gomez when he went to Bayern for 40 odd million..he buckled...as much as I liked him.
Now, I don't profess to being an expert on Son, nowhere near it actually, I just have a gut feeling bout this guy. He is used to pressure and being idolised...I think he will press on and deliver.
Here's hoping we have another Bale on our hands :)

As a team that seriously lacks pace we've now signed two quick players. I felt on Saturday in the second half Lennon could have injected some life into us. With Clinton that's two can at least Sprint. We've not seen them in the premier league so it's tough to say if they'll succeed, but they've got something the rest haven't.

I'm actually really excited to see how they both do. Son is a class player that I think will surprise a lot of people. Don't know much about N'jie but he looks very impressive in the various Youtube vids I've seen. Comes across as quite direct and somebody who thinks quickly.
