Harry Kane is a coach's dream and always gives everything to the cause
He ran out of gas at Euro 2016 after having a good season with Tottenham.

Sure Glenn... he should be having two/three full weeks of resting after playing at the CL final. (y)

He was probably the worst utilised forward ever at euro 2016. I mean taking corners? He'd just got the golden boot and no one played to his strengths.
This time things will be different as half the squad will be Spurs or post Spurs.

We cannot be expected to rest Harry Kane when nobody else rests their stars. Ridiculous. I suppose we should rest Dele so that the media and fans of other clubs (who have been slagging him off all year) can get the best of him.

Some leagues finish early enough before a major tournament to give players a proper rest, and if there's time then that'll have to do because Spurs won't and shouldn't rest their top scorer.

It won't matter to us because the whole press have him at Madrid before January is out anyway

Feel unclean after clicking on a Daily Mail link.... but Hod didn't actually say what's in the headline (at least in the article) - he said that he might be too tired to do well at the world cup, but that we can't leave him out....

He's also bleating on about the same old tired things..

"I said in the summer that this was a time for Tottenham to expand the squad with world-class players. I still feel that, though with the stadium needing to be financed it might have come a few years early to put themselves in the best position to keep Harry."

Hoddle can do one imo.

He’ll get plenty of rest out there as England will only have three games anyway...
