Given that since Burkinshaw the average Tottenham coach lasts 2 1/2 seasons, Levy has unrealistic targets given our resources, Comolli seems to have his own agenda and that fact that Ramos is allegedly coveted by bigger clubs than us how long do u think he will last.

Let's see, in 14 seasons he's got through 10 clubs. I'd say end of next season. If he's a success Real Madrid/Barcelona/another CL regular will come after him. If not then our new owners may decide a change is needed if we're not in the CL.

If he is the successful appointment I predict, it will be very difficult to keep hold of him. Bearing in mind Madrid change their coach every season!!

Not for you Shady, sorry.

Your stomach ache is God punishing you for being a retard.

No, wait.

You being retarded is God punishing you for being annoying. Your stomach ache is God punishing you for generally being a twat, and not rating Keane.

If his stays as long as Jol it would be an achievement for this club.

Having looked into my crystal ball, he'll use us to improve his English and settle into the premiership and then piss off to Chelscum when they sack Grant in the summer for winning sweet fa.

or

He'll sort us out big time, we'll lift the Uefa cup this year , he'll become a ledge at the Lane and we'll break the top four in the next two seasons.

At least 3 years.
He will acheive alot more than Jol has too in that time I'm sure.

Yes other clubs may come knocking, but one thing we have seen at Spurs, is that, many professionals actually like and enjoy their time at the club and that a huge plus.

I think he will bring style to our play and a focus to our game.

We have to respect if Barca or Madrid did come knocking, they are huge clubs - bigger than Tottenham, but we shouldn't be put off by that. Aim for the skies and if the clouds are as far as you go then fine.. It's better than to settle for second best.

By that time Gus will be ready to take full charge!

you would hope he would, as he is taking over a better squad of players than what Jol took over IMO

lets just hope he can just turn thigns round quick enough to still salavge something from this year!

In actual fact I think put this year to bed. He needs time to control the language, get a look at what he has, see the EPL opposition in 'real time'.
I'm sure the board aren't expecting miracles this year either.
I've always said with Jol, there was no direction - did any of us know our strengths, our pattern of play, our identity - were we counter, ball control, play through the middle or get the ball wide?? IMO it changed every week almost - you can't acheive that way (England's problem too by the way)
When I say he'll deliver alot more than Jol, this is where I’m really angling as much as anything else. I think we will see Spurs develope much more as a team... more pro-action instead of reaction to our opposition (which was crap to watch and swallow week in week out).

So not too bothered about this season and let go show what we can do for certain next year

I love the fact that people are already wondering how long he'll be around before he's even confirmed as boss.

Im sure some of the Jol brigade already want him to fail just so they get to say 'i told you so'.
