When: Saturday, 29th September 2018
Where: John Smith's Stadium
Referee: Craig Pawson
Kick Off: 3:00pm
Form: Huddersfield DLDLL Spurs LLLWD (all competitions)
Huddersfield lost both their EPL matches against us last season , scoring none and conceding six in the process. We are unbeaten in each of our last seven games in all competuition against Huddersfield, though only two of those meetings have come in this century (W4, D3)
Huddersfield have failed to score in their last 5 home EPL games, the longest run since Southampton's run of 6 ending 2017. and just 3 short of Man City's record run of 8 in the competition between January and may 2007. Huddersfield have failed to scofre in all threeof their EPLhome matches this season. Only twice in top-flight history has a team waited longer or their first home goal of the season (WBA in 1921-22 and Everton 1998-99 - both 5 games).
We have scored in 31 of our last 21 EPL games, failing against WBA back in May (0-1). We have lost 2 of our 5 EPL away games (W3), more than we had in our previous 11 on the road (W6 D4 L1).
Lamela has scored 2 goals in 3 EPL appearances this season, the same number he scored in 25 games in the EPL last term. He has scored in his last 2 EPL games, with both appearances coming on as a substitute. The last player to score in 3 consecutive EPL games, all from coming off the bench was Adam LeFondre in January 2013.
