Hope Moura doesn’t get in Kane’s way.

Would have thought more obvious to play Moura and Son either side of Kane but will see when match starts.

Disappointed and not surprised to see no KWP although at least Trippier is playing as a wing back so should be looking to get some crosses in box.

Lamela may be being eased back in, same with Winks and Wanyama as they all played last game and coming back from long-term injuries.

Odd Vorm isn’t even on bench unless he’s picked up a convenient injury to save face about losing place.

And at least no fucking diamond! :joyful::joyful:

You need width against a team like Huddersfield so expect the full backs to be more wing back. Need someone to switch the ball wide and quickly. That is the player we are missing.

Should still have enough to win this game.

Amazed Lamela is on the bench. Love Son and Lucas but there are 0 playmakers in a line up facing a team that will sit deep. Pace will not be the answer here.

Yep it seems weird and another Poch team selection mistake.

I’m expecting a hard game now I’ve seen that line up.

Yeah I don’t get it. Two wing backs bombing on, two lightening quick players on attack supporting kane. So negative.

Yeah, maybe it will work this time and not be like the other games we used it against a team certain to set up a block and created nothing and played turn-you-to-stone dead-boring football which frustrated the fuck out of us all on here.

It's possible.

Fucking play KWP, Jesus christ. Aurier is out, Trippier is obviously going to start against Barca, so it's the perfect chance for KWP against the worst team in the league.

It's baffling.

Id rather kwp, winks and lamela be saved for Barca.

Would have played vic here though over dembele. Think MD ability to protect the ball would be necessary on weds and not sure he can do 2 games in 4 days these days.

Would have played davies today, shit as he is (never rated him) I'd rather rose on weds and again not sure he can do 2 in 4 anymore.

Lamela on the bench is a ridiculous decision.

He’s our man in form and this game is vital.

You really think KWP will start against Barca?!

Winks played central is an improvement.
I don't think so. We need a dedicated defensive CM in either Dier or Wanyama IMO, we looked poor at Watford without one and have always done so. Winks is good but doesn't offer enough in terms of pressing or solidity for that role. And Dembele offers more than Winks IMO.

It does make me wonder what we're planning for Wednesday. You'd think not Dembele playing again so soon. Perhaps Winks then, or if fit Eriksen in a CM3?

No Lamela. Probably our most impressive player so far this season. Hope this doesn’t go mammaries up

Think he's being rested with Wednesday in mind.

Coming back from injury, been playing well of the bench, and his high energy press will definitely be needed come Wednesday against Barcelona.

I'm all for it, think the team should be strong enough against Huddersfield.
