Fair enough, but I was the only one that got warned:shrug:

I was threatened for questioning A an C and that is what he did not like? If I was warned, so should everybody else!
how do you know they didn't?

You have already said you got a private warning, could there be any chance that others got the same and as the word private suggests, you dont know about it.

or maybe that they have accepted, not seen or couldn't care less about the warning

He's just a kid. Give him a break.

Why? He is deemed ready to play for our first team and will need to take the responsibility that comes with it.

If he isn't good enough then he shouldn't be there.

I do think Hudd is a good player, but realy needs to work harder in midfeild. Didn't have a good game last night though

He told me that he did not warn anybody else because they accepted his "light-hearted" warning and I responded by making a "light-hearted" comment back!

Hudd and Zokora would excell in a 3 man central midfield or else their main attributes are wasted.

Not together surly?

Would love to see a center midfeild 3 of

Hudd
Jenas.......Boetang

or just a center 2 of Jenas and Boetang.

Tonight was not his best game, he was poor in the 2nd half and joey55 is right a heavy pitch does not suit his slow game.

I am a fan of Hudd, but like a few people I am starting to lose patience. He is at the age when he needs start controlling the tempo of games and directing the play. He should start by watching Tugay play for a Blackburn, not the most mobile player in the world but hugely affective controlling the midfield.

Saying all that I don't think he fits into Ramos style of play so expect him to leave the club next summer

:cry::cry:

How many 20yr olds do you know that do this playing at Prem level?

I can only think of one such player...

Big Tom epitomises the current Spurs first team squad. Loads of Potential. Look at how much potential we have. Jenus, Kaboul, Lennon, Hudd,, Boetang, Taarabt, even Dawson. The problem with potential is, realised you win silverware, eventually, unrealised you struggle to stay afloat. Most of these players still need time to develop, Only Jenus and Dawson should now be turning that potential into big performances in a consistent way. Hudd needs a bit of time, just how much time you give him is another matter. The same goes for the others. Football fans the world over are not renowned for their patience, me included. That's why a balanced transfer policy has to be used. Not just to buy up every decent young player you can lay your hands on.

He wasn't deemed 'ready' by Jol, the man who turned Carrick from a £3m also-ran into an £18m England international. Carrick was shite up until the age of about 23. I'd give Hudd at least til then before passing judgement. He only gets into the team so much now because of a lack of competition in CM. He should be rotated into a fully-functioning midfield, as and when the manager chooses to play him to pick up experience and learn the position. It's not his fault he isn't.

Lies, damn lies and statistics. Jol clearly never agreed because he never played that much.

And then he was sacked....

I dont understand why so many people are saying he needs loads of time on the ball... Hudd has proven time and again how he can get out of a tight spot with players crowding him then hit a 40 yard cross field ball to the ffet of lennon or into the box from 20 yards straight to keanes feet. The problem we have is that half the time the player at the other end of the pass finds it hard to think quickly enough, a great example was against man utd when he hit a 25 yard (or so) ball along the floor through about 4 of thier players which hit the back heel of Jenas (I think)... Hudd is going to do so much for Spurs in the near future and yet everyone thinks they know it all about him... He has so much more to give as he is only 20 years old...
The thing that annoys me the most is everyone saying he is fat.. U lot obviously have no idea.. He is not fat he is just a big guy... There is no way he would be anywhere near this level if he was fat... I have seen quite a few tottenham fans who are quite clearly fat and when wearing the spurs shirt it is very apparent... Eek

problem with players like Huddlestone and Carrick is they think they have this super killer pass and try to use it in EVERY SINGLE F(*&(*&(*& SITUATION.
Try to use the brain for a while and stop lobbing every ball, you Huddlestone is no PLATINI, you are not an Alonso and may never become a Carrick

For me this is the problem with English football. Technically he is one of the best players at our club but I think it will be very hard for him to reach his potential in the Premiership. If he were to move to Italy or Spain that would suit him better, I don't think he works too well in a 4-4-2 but in a 4-3-3 I think he would flourish and be a key player.

He can only pass.

Other than that hes useless, sorry guys its the truth. Every match we see him play he does nothing, accept pass. Cant tackle, cant mark, and sure the hell cant turn.

But ill get behind him cause i love this club

Birmingham! A pass outta his ass! And his left foot. There is only 3/4 players that can be happy with their form. Yes, hudd not wanna them. But you know as soon as he joins Portsmouth or blackburn he'll become a world beater! I'll come and find you then!

Hudd is probably one of the most technically gifted young English players around at the moment. His main problem at the moment seems to be his mobility or lack of it. As has been said in previous posts the EPL is played at 100mph and this sort of player is more often than not made to look slow and lazy. Look at Berbatov everything he does seems to look so easy and at times it looks as if he is not giving his all and Hoddle was the same. When teams are not doing so well players who are not running all over the place flying in to tackles become easy pray due to these reasons.
However I agree that defensively Hudd is not the best in the world but I also think that he would be appreciated far more in a league which focused more on technical ability like the Italian or Spanish leagues rather than the strength and speed of the EPL.

The Hudd would be best suited to this formation with these players. It won't be used because apparently it would be too great a risk in the EPL and would cause us to lose. Go figure that one:)
----------Robbo
-----------King
------Dawson--Zokora
Chimbonda---Hudd---Bale
-----Lennon---Jenas----
----Berbatov---Keane

I've said it before about Huddlestone his a talent player and progressive in his play but lacks vital qualities to perform in a two man midfield. It's well documented Huddletsone lacks the stamina and athleticism to completely dominate the midfield in a two and is the reason I've advocated he plays in a three central man midfield. This would also IMO benefit the sort of players we have playing in midfield but Its unlikely to ever happen and i wouldn't be surprised if Huddlestone were sold.

He has some talent. However he seems to have got it into his head that he is some kind of amazing prospect who can just wander around waiting for the ball, without contributing defensively.

Also he tries through balls waaaaay too much. I know he will improve as he gets older but he seriously needs to shift his arse when we lose the ball occasioanlly

everyone know's he is class....thats why people get angry when he puts in crap performences...people want him running the show in midfield...they see Cesc fabregas do it week in week out and say why doesnt hudd do that.

Fabregas is one of the best players in the world right now, I think it's pretty unfair to expect Huddlestone to be like Fabregas just because they play in the same position and are the same age. Fabregas is an abslute gem of a player. It's like people expecting Lennon to be Ronaldo last season, fucking unreal.
