He is right that he was wrong.;) Glad that something is being done about it in the professional game.

At least it won't happen again as it will never again be up to the player or the manager. The medical staff will make the decision for them.

He was lucky. AVB should have acted like a proper Manager and made the decision for him imo. No backbone and could have been a disaster. Both very lucky it turned out as it did.
Always amazes me when something like this happens and its discovered there isn't anything in place to deal with it.
Makes you wonder what these various bodies sit around discussing all day given that H&S is at the forefront of everything.

Hardly his fault, given he wasn't in the right frame of mind to make decisions... what with being concussed.
AVB was wrong. The Spurs Medical Team were wrongly overruled. The emails they sent in reply to complaints and the press releases contained inaccurate medical information.
Something needs to be done to protect sportsmen and women from serious head injuries and the first is to get them properly assessed.

But he could not know his decision then was wrong as he was concussed, so there could not be any fault from his part.
