Would love for Lloris to be our no.1 for the next decade but lets be honest we will enjoy him probably one more season.

I hope we can hold on to him at least until the new stadium gets built, because we'll be in a far better position to pay him somewhere near the wages he'd get offered elsewhere, and we'll be far better placed to challenge for the Premiership, giving him more of an incentive to stay with us. He's given us a tremendous vote of confidence by signing a 5 year contract extension, and for me, this shows his commitment to the club and it's ambitions, which he obviously shares.

He wasn't even mentioned as a top ten goalkeeper from the world cup by many reporters and that probably helped us keep him.

I hope your right but Gareth Bale signed a new 5 year deal every season & that didnt stop him moving on.
Fact is these 5 year deals are mainly to protect the club. Yes the player is happy to stay (at least one more year) on improved wages & no doubt should we improve greatly (champions league) he would stay. But call me a cynic i personally believe this is a make or break season for Lloris.
