Sad thing is Rose looked good on loan @ Sunderland so didn't expect him to be so poor for us.
It probably had more to do with the coaching style at Sunderland under Martin O'Neill. Rose appears to be a player who needs someone constantly bellowing in his ear to remind him of his defensive responsibilities, and I would expect that Steve Bruce would be able to provide this.

Thank god for hull.

More a case of thank God for Bruce, he seems to have a hard on for Spurs players. He has Hudd and Jake, he also took 3 when he was at Sun'lun.

Have to admit I have mixed feelings about Dawson.

I doubt any of them will go before the new man comes in and makes his own judgements. However if it is Poch, I can actually see Livermore being brought back into the fold, as he would perform a similar role for us as Steven Davis does at Southampton.

i actually wouldn't mind Jake having one more crack with us and see if the loan spell has made him more spurs ready, but he is the one im sure hull defo want, and if he had to be part of a deal id take it, for 12 - 15m. Love daws but he can go.

Davis is far more mobile than Livermore has ever been or will be.

Can't see Jake wanting to come back and be a bit part player at best. He has had a decent season, made a Wembley final which is more than he would have had with us. I wish them well and will be going to a club where they might be able to play at their true level rather than be at one where we expect much more

No problem if we can bring in some 'home grown' replacements. Replacing Dawson's loyalty and passion for the club will be a bigger task though.

The question is who would he play ahead of? He'd be third choice at best for his position behind Sandro and Capoue. Depending on how the new manager uses Dembele and Bentaleb he could be fifth choice.

I'd be happy for him to move on to a team where he'll play regularly and be appreciated for what he brings to the team, knowing that he's a good player but wasn't quite good enough to make our first team on a regular basis.

quite true mate but we also don't know how the new man would use Livermore. I wouldn't shed tears if he went but also would be happy enough if he had a chance to reestablish himself as a cm or dm here, hes done well at hull and he may now be ready to become a good addition to our squad going forward

Not really a raid on spurs but more a sale that suits buyer, seller and players. Livermore won't get in the midfield now, Daws almost definitely not in first team next season. Rose I think has been woeful this season but could possibly be better with better/different coaching on what he's supposed to be doing, so might be worth keeping as backup if the new manager thinks he could do a job. He'd be a bit annoyed to be back up though.
my opinion is get rid if they wanna pay up

That would be excellent business for Hull; how good a piece of business it would be for Spurs would depend very much on who we bring in. At the moment all three would be in my starting line up, which is not to say I think they are great.

Win-win situation. We get rid of three players who shouldn't be in a team with CL ambitions and Hull get three solid mid-table players. Had wished to see Livermore suceed in Spurs, him being an academy product and all, but oh well...
