Decent player, did well up there. Should get a good fee for him, £8million plus for a guy who wont be near our first team, niiiiiiccceee.

English young player. One of their better players last season. A sure starter for them. I'd be looking at £6m with add-ons to take it up to £8m or so.

Would rather we did not sell anyone until the new manager has had the chance to evaluate the squad and given the green light.

It is not just that Jake is rather undervalued on here, he provides a tactical option that none of our other midfielders do. He is about the only true box to box midfielder who can both tackle and spot a pass that we possess, the rest are either auxiliary defenders or auxiliary forwards.

Just where do you think he's fit into the bulging midfield we already have, and if theirs' mutiny and rabid Tweets abound when one spoilt child get's dropped imagine the drama queens when he returns to the fold.

I'm all for not writing off home grown talent but in terms of box to box midfields I'd say both Dembele and Paulinho are currently better than him. And as DM he's way behind Sandro and probably Capoue. What with Bentaleb pushing the edges of that too you don't envisage much playing time for Jake.

Personally, I like him. Think he's got good heart as well as physical and footballing attributes. But if we can get upwards of £7m you'd have to say it could be useful in other areas of the pitch.

If we can add a quality left-back then we're already looking at a really strong squad for next season.
