literally just watched spurs highlight from today.. my god quicker we get proper left back in the better.. rose imvho at fault for goal.. very soft,, did he actually flick it on long ? bloody average..

next weekend i want to see kaboul in for dawson... townsend in for lennon... sandro in for bentalab..

i think there is a cse for dropping soldado but at home to everton in a game we have to win then playing two front is way to go surely.

But that's not good enough, if Sherwood doesn't have the tactical understanding to have the team set up for a match and then relies on a bollocking and inspiration at half time we are going to get caught out way too often.

Tactical understanding comes with experience, Sherwood doesn't have that! So for now unfortunately he has to rely on inspiration and his limited knowledge of the managerial part of the game. I'm willing to give him time. At least we bludy score under him, we couldn't buy a goal under AVB.

What difference do you think Sandro would have made to today's game in place of Bentaleb?

Why is 2 up front at home the way to go?
We can play attacking football at home with an extra midfielder, its the mentality and coaching, if we play the way we did today Everton will mug us.

The Clubs Chairman made a management adjustment to help ensure that doesn't' happen again. Not losing to teams below us is what is required, and beating them (away) a bonus. Over a full season Tim is heading for a 72 point total (IF my math is correct). I'd have taken that at the start of this season, with seven new players to blood plus the loss of that Welsh kid.

Funny I thought we got dicked 5-1 at home last week so it did happen again!

I am scrambling away trying to find your oh so negative post after our win at Man Ure............buggered if i can see it anywhere. As i say, you need to go support a team that never loses and sweeps all before them. The Blue side of Manchester would be a good start for you.

Your opinion may be "honest" it's the sense that just doesn't add up i am afraid to say.

Anyway keep putting the World to rights..................
I'm trying man, but your kinda hampering me.

As for saying I should support a team that never loses, that's just below the belt and completely unnecessary. I can take a defeat, but I can't take being told that my opinion about our performance or that we shouldn't be disappointed is not worthy of being aired.

You can't seem to take the fact that we are in poor shape more than I. We should be aiming for more. Not just accepting our fate. Maybe you should go support Fulham.

Agree , 2 uptop is only worth going with if you have 2 goalscorers like Citeh, Manure or Liverpool have, for us to do it and sacrifice a potential threat from MF is madness.

I cannot be bothered to look the stats up but even when Bale was here our midfield including Lennon, and even going back to Bentley scored fuck all. How many has Townsend scored?, Chadli, or whoever you want to name. Goals "from several positions" ain't going to happen with the players that we currently have on the wings, or from the attacking midfield. That my friend is a nailed on one hundred percent fact. The history of this club, and goal differences over the past five season should tell you that.

We should have sold Bale, fuck buying seven players and gone all in on one of the Carlos-Kick-A-Balls that Monaco or Man Citeh brought.

So are you saying Tim is not capable of improving things then?

has immense presence and strength and makes us 110% mor solid and gives players around the confidence to be more attacking..bentalab is tidy and keeps ticking over but he is no sandro..

if i was opposition player and this does happen but when hull players woke this morning i think the lot of them would have been right up for it knowing it was bentalab not sandro and more importantly than all that...

this time of season every match has to be treated as cup finals imvho not the time to be blooding a 18 yr old and giving him games... sherwood knows what sandro gives team so fucking play him...!!

as far as im concerned sandro has been training past few weeks. im all for kids coming thru but i personally think sandro is vital in our set up since we have plonkers like dawson at that back.. he offers so much protection and strength in middle of field. bring bentalab on that way and ease him in.

I overheard this conversation today, coming out the ground at full time (2 Hull fans, of course). I swear to God this is exactly what I heard:

Guy 1: That Eriksen looks alright don't he. Reckon he'll have a decent chance of being in the World Cup squad.

*easy mistake, I thought - I sometimes forget Denmark aren't at the World Cup*

Guy 2: Yeah he looks good, but he'd be up against Gerrard and Wilshere for that CM role and I don't think he'll get picked over them.

Guy 1 then agrees, and says he may be one for Euro 2016, when Gerrard's out of the team.

I think Rose is looking dodgy, I hope he improves a lot and fast. On a brighter note and not sure if it's been mentioned, but did you see Frimpong looking happy about his move today? Made me smile

Whats worrying is Dim Tim showed how stubborn he is. We needed to switch it up and he only used a sub cause Ade was injured. Kept Nabil, Aaron on the pitch i think to make a point. Bentaleb for some reason is undroppable and un-subbable. He's shown a lack of adaptability too. I was hoping he would learn as every game went on. Looks like his arrogance and stubbornness rules.
