All good until you mentioned that Shield! ;-)
An amazing season...two amazing seasons!
Point is- did we deserve to be champions? Historically, looking at the points of the champions...the reality and humble truth is...No. So damn close and such an incredible improvement. But (IMO) the toil of the shite EuropaSoup league cost us early on. When you're competing for the title...a draw is a loss and that is ultimately what has cost us. Chelski had better resources and no crappy Europe to deal with. (Ditto that 1D Leicester were afforded the same luxury last season...playing, in general, the same team week in week out...that luxury is what has won both Lice-Cess-ter and Chel-Ski titles.

We have been amazing, I have been amazed - we are improving every week, every year - the best "footballing" team in the league for two years running with the youngest team for two years running. Keep them together, chip off the dead wood, bring in the best talent and survive next season at Wembley and we really are building an amazing team.
We're at a pivotal moment, Wembley is going to be tough - especially with the increase in pitch size - but that is our future...the bigger pitch and the bigger stadium at the new WHL - Expectations for next season need to be managed accordingly. But I hope and pray - that the nucleus of this team can stay together - imagine them in two years time at the new WHL? WOW! Could be world beaters! COYS!!
You are on about the pitch size? Surely as Wembley is going to be our home ground next season, has someone within Spurs mentioned to them we would like to MARK THE PITCH OUT THE SAME SIZE AS WHITE HART LANE PLEASE????

No because it is a regulation pitch size that we will be playing on. The same size as the new stadium and the same size as any new stadium that we will be playing in, away games cup finals etc...

Whl is gone.

"...All the KEY players feel the same as I do..."

Poch after today's game basically talking about next season and stating all the players he requires for next season feel the same as him and are staying....

Love the fact that your could take Arsenal and Utds goal difference, add them together and it still wouldn't be as good as ours.

I love the fact that our goal difference is more than Man Utd (and 13 other teams) have even scored.

Gutted the seasons over. Never been so excited about a Spurs side. Just want the new season to start now, we've been on absolute fire and I cannot wait to see what next season brings.

The progress made by this side is absolutely ridiculous...keep this team together along with a couple of smart additions then we'll be the team to beat next season.

That's why it's such a shame we are away from home next season. Could've seen us winning it next year if we weren't at Wembley for every team's cup final.

An early win there next season is a must to avoid it become a psychological issue (if it's not already)

I'd be happy to carry on at our same pace next season and then win it first year in the New Lane... I'm not greedy :D

Winning it next year and then at our new home would give us the distinction of winning the league at 3 different grounds.

Not too worried about Wembley. Our performances got progressively better there, and we were unlucky to lose to Chelsea.

We'll be used to the stadium and will have a massive home support cheering us on. It's also the fact that home teams almost always set up to attack and win, which forces opponents to adjust. That will still be true no matter where our home games are played.

If anything, the Wembley factor will probably see a few teams getting over excited and playing right into our hands. Regardless, we're generally the best team on any pitch we're playing on these days. I'm looking forward to it and can't wait to get to a few games.

Yeah but you know what the media are like they'll be playing up the "issues Spurs have playing at Wembley"
And if we were to go one or two without a win they'll go into overdrive.

Would be nice but we can't. We had to get a waiver based on the stadium dimensions to have the smaller pitch at WHL. Won't get that one for Wembley.
