I am happy with the Birmingham result!

......think ATTACK!I honestly think that we need to clear out the lot of them,I know for sure that if I was Ramos and my very well paid job was in the hands of our defenders,that is exactly what I would do.
What is it now 3 clean sheets in 43 games, FFS Andy Gray was laughing at us yesterday!That record is atrocious and we have now had 2 very good managers who have been unable to sort out our defence.The reason therefore is simple,the players are shit,get rid of them!

Dawson was immense last season but having Kaboul next to him instead of King, Rocha or dare I say it even Gardner hasn't helped his game. Kaboul will come good but he's only 21 and this is his first season for us and in the premier league. I'd rather we didn't get rid of him or dawson just yet if if they are squad players.

You say teams think ATTACK against us but in all fairness did Birmingham? They had barely half a minute of possession in the first quarter (of the second half second) in the final third of the pitch yet still managed to get an equaliser. Also aren't you forgetting we went down to ten men with twenty minutes left yet still looked like we were searching for maximum points. I thought Bale (so glad we bought him) and Chimbonda player ok did what full backs should do get forward and link up with the man infront so why do we need five defenders?

One decent CB if no one else is fit is a must in January and we should manage to finish out of the dog fight zone.

I disagree with that view. If Spurs play like they did yesterday, and I include in that the defensive errors, they will win most games. The result was a complete travesty.

That describes the defending yesterday. If Spurs continue with defensive errors like that every single game then we will be playing Burnley in the Championship next season and trust me, you don't want to go there. It's like going back to the 19th century.

JR - we need to sort the defence out. Attacking play doesn't always win games, look at Tottenham under Ardiles.

I prefer Bale on the left side of midfield and sorry but Chimbo has the kind of attitude that just can't be allowed in a defender,he lets players run past him and he then jogs back without a care in the world.Lee is far too lightweight and offers very little as a defender or as a passer.
Kaboul is our very own Titus Bramble and we will have to keep him because lets be honest,who would buy him?
Dawson tries hard but is still inexperienced and makes a few poor decisions.Gardner is not going to get any better and the jury is still out on Rocha because he really hasn't played enough.
Ledley is the one brilliant defender we have but because of injuries we only have him for about a third of a season and I really can't see that improving.
Robbo has had his reputation badly tarnished over the last two seasons and his confidence is at an all time low.We have not got a keeper who is good enough to even challenge his place in the team!
Thats why I was suggesting a shake up in our defence and January can't come soon enough for me!
