it's very difficult to predict what will happen with Spurs

my guess is that if we go down, we will back within 5 years, and hopefully when we do return it won't be to the same level of moaning whingeing and deluded expectations that has poisoned the Lane for most of the 45 years I've been going there - but I'm not holding my breath

Actually we just scraped back on goal difference :roll:

And it's even harder to return nowadays :sad:

What else is interesting about that year was I noticed that Blackpool who were relegated had the divisions leading goalscorer (Bob Hatton - 22). They finished with a goal difference of -1 and one point from safety scoring only 4 goals less than the champions (Bolton).

They must have had a lot of unlucky games.
