Well, we could upgrade everywhere. I asked about swapping 3 and that its a hard question because I like the team so much right now, even though it can easily be improved on, it's hard for me to want to, let alone have to change it.
I'm not entirely convinced you know what the word swap means mate.

Lloris
Dier Toby Jan
Walker Wanyama Dembele Rose
Eriksen Kane Alli

I would not swap any of them. Most are still improving, and need matches to continue to improve. Replacing them would hurt in the long-run.

with an unlimited budget the first three Id upgrade on would be Lamela, Dembele and probably Wanyama. I like them all, but in an ideal world....

Thread makes as much sense as Darth Vader pouring water from a jug to a bottle whilst standing in the ocean.

If the question is "what are the three weakest positions in our first choice team and formation" I would say (assuming 3-4-2-1)

1. Position alongside DCM (i.e. whoever plays alongside Wanyama).
2, Left sided CB to replace Verts
3. Right sided wing back (Walker needs more end product for the positions he gets in)

Lloris
Dier---Alderweireld---???
???----Wanyama----???-----Rose
Eriksen---Delle
Kane

Assuming our strongest XI is:

Lloris;
Dier, Toby, Jan;
Walker, Wanyama, Dembele, Rose;
Eriksen, Alli;
Kane.

I'd swap Eriksen for Alli, Toby for Dier, and Dembele for Wanyama.

Like so:

Lloris;
Toby, Dier, Jan;
Walker, Dembele, Wanyama, Rose;
Alli, Eriksen;
Kane.

Swap for who? Anyone?

Every single Spurs player can be improved on probably except Alderweireld. if you can just swap for anyone

Curious thread

This is a curios thread, as there are plenty of world class player that we could never afford. We are doing remarkably well for the players at our disposal, especially when it comes to our attacking options. Lamela’s long injury and our switching of formations also makes it impossible to say whom our starting 11 are. This is my thoughts on the subject however.

Goalkeeper
  • Why replace a world class goalkeeper with another, when we have one that is loved and 100% committed? It just wouldn’t make sense.

Central Defense
  • 100% happy with our defense. Alderweireld is among the best in the world. Vertonghen can be a bit erratic at times, but he’s still an incredible defender. Dier brings versatility and is only 22 years old if I’m not mistaken. What a future that kid has ahead of him!

Full-backs
  • Rose and Walker are among the best in the world!

Midfield
  • I’m so impressed with Wynyama week after week that I wouldn’t replace him with anyone!
  • Dembélé and Sissoko are great all round midfielders, but in a fantasy world they could of course be replaced with the likes of Vidal and Pogba.
  • It would be kind of silly to replace Eriksen, as his contribution would only increase with better players around him, and I’m really looking forward to see how far Alli progresses. Kevin de Bruyne and Iniesta would be (im)possible upgrades however.

Attack and wingers
Plenty of completely unrealistic attacking options we could never afford, for example:
  • Kane -> Higuaín
  • Heung-min Son -> Ronaldo
  • Lamela -> Bale

If I had to choose 3 changes, I would definitely go with a completely unrealistic attack of super stars! Who wouldn’t?
