Homegrown does not only include English players. Hopefully in the long run our youth system will sort this out and we will start bringing players through so we only have to make 1 or 2 signings at most a season. Having a world class academy is the only way we are going to keep up because we can not afford the large transfer fees and large wages of the clubs above us in recent years.

That is because the FA and their yes men managers only like to pick the players that sell shirts and other merchandise. Players at bigger clubs have a better profile and are more popular.
