The sooner we integrate both Alderweirald and Wanyama into the starting 11 the better IMO.
Wanyama has been the biggest miss. Protecting the back 4 and giving us a steady platform to launch the attacks. Not too sure on his latest shoot on sight in recent games though

It was fucking annoying seeing him shoot in those final moments against Southampton, but yes, very much missed that's for sure :D

It always seems like we can never put our strongest 11 out on the pitch together.

I know all clubs get injuries, but it just feels like it happens to us more often than not.

The last two times we fielded our strongest eleven on the pitch together was the 4-0 win against West Brom and the 2-0 win against Chelsea last season.

Give Toby last half hour against Newport and then if he feels up to it, start him in a back three alongside Sanchez and Verts with wanyama in front of them against United.

It happens to every team. But I think we will have a fully fit squad for feb and finally see this line up

Lloris
Alderweireld Sanchez Vertonghen
Aurier Wanyama Eriksen Rose
Dele Son
Kane

Subs: Vorm Tripier Davies Dier Dembele Lamela Llorente/winks

I think it shows we lack quality depth in key areas. For example, if one of Toby, Verts, Harry, Eriksen, and Victor are out, it really is hard to replace them in any way, shape or form. I used to say the same about Dembele... but he's not quite at that level these days.

Going to make a big difference having Victor and Toby back out there. Would be very nice to also see Rose and Winks coming back soon.

I'm very curious to see what a Wanyama and Winks partnership would look like in CM. It would allow little Harry more room to play the 8 pivot role, without having to worry about protecting the back 4.

You mean the Edwards who is on loan at Norwich?

No way!!!!!

He’s going to be our greatest midfield talent since Gazza. What are they up to

Maybe Norwich have a good gym with lots of weights for him. Maybe a rack to stretch him out on too

Can’t wait to see Edwards...
Have to say his timing since getting injured in that CL warm up has been shocking. Every time there was a possible opportunity either injured away with England youth or now on loan. If here and fit almost certainly would have been on bench.

That must be some toe injury, I thought they took about a month if broken.
