I know its a long long shot but do we think theres even the slightest chance that Kane could be back before the end of the season? He was there today, walking unaided without a protective boot and as someone who has suffered numerous ankle ligament injuries over the years the recovery time for me anyway gradually got less and less with every injury. I was all for giving the guy a complete break until next season but our season is teetering on the edge of a cliff right now.

I think we have to get rid of players who are always injured.
We need players who are usually fit. Lamela is one of course.
I’m a big fan of Winks, he could be a very special player but the reality is he can’t stay fit, so he’s another we will have to replace.

With the injuries, we've just got to somehow try not to concede or at least be still in the tie. In the second leg Son will be back and hopefully a couple from injury.
Something like a 0-0 would be a brilliant result, as i'd be confident of us scoring there with Son and others back.

In any other season i'd agree re. Lamela. But there's so much other work we need to do so we have to prioritise. We're probably gonna have to bring in 5 players minimum, add Lamela to that and we need a 6th.
If we could get Fekir then i'd be more open to selling. Being left footed he could play a very similar role to Lamela whilst also being able to operate upfront and in other areas.

Yeah I’m looking forward to the semi. I’d be looking forward to it a bit more if the team wasn’t hampered by so many injuries, mind. Anyway it was an off the cuff comment, borne of frustration. All these injuries have worn me down ?
