Better news on Kane and Dele from Poch.

Winks we’ll have to wait and see but hope he’s okay too.

These friendly sessions are as much about the training ground as they are the games themselves, particularly if Southgate has basically decided what his formation is going to be. Kane et al can play a full part in all of that, without having to do two 90 minute sessions in the games.

As of now this IMO is our strongest team

Lloris
Alderwiereld Sanchez Vertonghen
Trippier Wanyama Winks Davies
Eriksen Dele
Kane
Subs: Vorm Rose Aurrier Dier Dembele Lamela Son

It seems only Wanyama will be out of the scum game

There is absolutely no way Dier will be on the bench! He'll be playing from the off.

Trippier won't know whether he's coming or going.

A full fit Dembele (if there is such a thing) is one of the first names on the team sheet for me

Interesting reading Kane's latest comments...basically I have to say I want to play for my country but I could do with a rest. Hope the club has some balls and steps in!

"The hamstrings are fine but look, we've got to keep an eye on it," Kane said after the win over Palace.

"It's something that happened and we don't want it to happen again. It's about maintaining it, it's a long old season so we go away now and we do a bit of work and hopefully get ready for Friday.

"The knock in the first half was still niggling. It was a sore one. The manager makes the decisions for the team and he obviously thought that was the best decision.

"I do everything I can when I play whether it's 90 minutes or 70 minutes, that's all I can do."

"We play so many games and we've had so many high intensity games - United, Madrid, Liverpool - it takes it out of you," Kane said.

"The manager does his best here at Tottenham to keep everyone in the best shape possible and I'm sure Gareth will do the same.

"Whether I play both games, that isn't my call, it's down to Gareth. Gareth will make the decision based on what he thinks is best for the players and the team.

"If I'm fit and called upon I'm happy to play. It's always an honour to play for my country, I'd never turn that down, so we'll see what happens."

This will definitely be a thoroughly angsty international break. The guys going into friendlies is one thing, but Eriksen going into two playoff games with Ireland, them being well aware that Eriksen is the man to stop (break), will be a source of worry.

Let's hope he gets some protection from those big mean boys in green then! :D

Mostly concerned about rose. Always seems to cop a 3-4 week injury during the international break

He needs the game time though.

Poch has a real quandary with him. Davies must still be the man in possession of the position but Rose is such a potent weapon.

Exactly, he's the only one of our players who will benefit from playing for England this time around.

And in my opinion Dier is as good in that position as Victor!
