I know but must spend more time in opposition penalty areas than most centre forwards. So how does fantasy football list Salah as a midfielder and Hazard as a forward.

Back to the injuries , some of the other top 6 teams would be badly hit also if they lost their two top scorers. e.g if Woolwich lost Aubameyang & Lacazette who would they play up front.

Out of those 5 the only one people were seriously wanting to sell in the summer was dembele and I don’t think too many were massively upset when he was still here when the window shut. We knew Wanyama’s injury would be very long term in the summer, Dembele has always struggled for fitness and no-one expected Sissoko to actually be good. There was a clear need for a CM in the summer.

people only hear what they wanna hear, buy cheap sell high can only get you so far, the reason we didn't sell or buy in the summer and now are lumbered with a squad half full of the unwanted or unable.

And people forget that no-one rated Sissoko as anywhere near a starter, in fact most of the BSoDL would have cried on here if you said at the start of the season Sissoko would be our main midfielder this season.

If you knew Sissoko was going to perform so well and Skipp play on bench you’d actually say we were fine in CM. Obviously things have now changed with dembele leaving and wanyama looking a crock. Yes when the season started you could say CM was our most vulnerable area but I didn’t see it as desperate that we needed to stock pile a few CM. The fact is any squad will be vulnerable to 5 or 6 missing unless you have a 28/30 man squad which pochettino doesn’t want. In fact he’d rather have 23 than 25.
