Can;t see what all the fuss is about Trips and Toby not playing. Poch always rotates full backs when he has all of them fit. Plus Toby has been feeling his way back in so a rest is OK. Moura has played all games with a lot of intensity and is not used to unrelenting nature of the EPL so not starting makes sense when you can bring in fresher players who are used to playing together. Kane and Eriksen are world class so they play whenever possible. Maybe next week in the league cup and against Huddersfield these players can rest

What's your point?
The new generation of happy clappy Spurs fans seem to think they've never had it so good. Just pointing out staring at a league table hoping we finish 4th or higher isn't what I see as watching a successful team. If it floats your boat then that's fine for you.

My point is that your desire to take us back to a time where Liverpool won fucking everything while we had a team of great players but not a great team so while we occassionally mugged off Anderlecht to win a UEFA cup we spent the rest of our time being mugged off by clubs who went for consistency and will power over flair.

It's not the 80's any more and they weren't that fucking great anyway. Spanking Real Madrid 3-0 is great. We aren't going to win anything by "focussig on the Cups" cos that shit doesn't work anymore. He's clearly not himself, looks stale and slow. I think a spell on the bench would do kane good. Personally I think he's been poor since the injury and needs a rest maybe. Aside the form player is lucas, play the man in form.

As an aside I would of played Lamela as a false 9 flanked by son and lucas, with interchanging and movement. I'd like to see that.

i thought he played very well in his only appearance vs place at home last year and was voted motm, vorm has cost us too many sloppy goals & gazza atleast deserves more game time !
