In hindsight, Kane should have stayed on and Llorente should have been brought on. This hard to take after controlling the 2nd half and leading the game. Three losses in a row is bad but I hope we can turn this around on Saturday. COYS

Saturday will be a scrap - I worry we won't be up for it.

Or money because we were assured that we had 150M to spend. Anyone hear anything about that lately? Our MF sure could use some of that dosh.

Yes, it could be that the stadium financing was badly mismanaged. If we do have no money then that’s the only plausible explanation.

Either way, it doesn’t look good on Mr L

I cannot believe we didnt spend a penny to freshen things up. haha. I mean its difficult to fathom. It has culminated into this - we are stale.

Wink's a better link between defense and attack, Dembele now belongs in the MLS, pains me to say it but he's too negative and slow in his passing.
Winks moves the ball quicker and plays to our strengths of a quick attack.

Winks was horrendous vs Liverpool on Saturday and his cameo today we went from 1/0 up to 2-1 down.
Dembele may well be on the way down but he is still much better than winks

That 150m was only there if we sold rose and alder. Didn't happen hence the last minute panic to get grealish

Wasting a lead against Watford. And again this evening. It is all about mentality. We are soft.

With the lack of signings, the stadium delay, Hugo getting in to trouble and other off-field problems, the mood around the club stinks at the moment. There's no excitement, no ambition. Nobody expects anything from us because, once again, we're the underdogs. We have nobody to blame but ourselves. This is stagnation.

Ok, so what do we do now? We know there are problems but we need solutions

This sucks. The team deserved more unlike the Liverpool game. But two things keep happening: a set piece calamity and a poor start. We just don’t get out of the blocks faster than the opponent for all 6 of our games. It’s bizarre. It was decisive here or in any of our games but it raises questions.

I just don’t get it, we’re got ourselves playing then take off one of our best performers on the night in Lamela, then our pressing died, our attacking threat died, and we got pushed further and further back until we lost. One sub killed us.

So much on Pochettino this, we were completely in the ascendency, he takes off Lamela and we're on the back foot for the rest of the game. You need to continue to give them something to worry about to relieve pressure. What on Earth made him think it was a good idea to go back to anything that resembled our setup against Liverpool, it was the exact same result.

Also, I've just lost my patience with playing with Kane. So so annoyed again.

This feels like the Daniel Levy Moment of Pochettino's career.

Levy pisses the manager off.
Manager spreads negativity into the team.
Performances drop.
Manager blamed.
Manager sacked.
Best players sold.
Levy signs exciting young manager.

Kane needs to be dropped for a few weeks and sent away. I dont care if he bitches. He is beyond fucked. We are culpible as he is in ruining himself. He needs an elongated break. But yet we have to rush him back for the season for no reason at all.

We bottle it constantly, yes. But there is never any investment in this team. The players see the lack of belief from the club so its boils down our mentality. We need to be sold to owners who will actually invest and ASAP.
I really don't think is his physically issue. He is mentally not as strong as he used to be. He looked so low in confidence it hurts to see him play.

It's going to have to be some turn around for us, because we could end up in the Europa League and that would be disastrous for our premiership challenge. Inter will be better by the time they meet us again.

Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Kane....all nowhere near their best...but who to replace them and give them a fight for their place?

No one, cause Dan chose to save some money

Hmm, well that was unexpected........quality strike from a lazy striker who couldn't be bothered to get in the box from a really really poor cross, which in all rights should have missed everyone and then bullied again for the winner.

Possibly being a bit unfair with the bullied thing but against Watford and the last few minutes against Inter we've let in winners from not defending set pieces, that's not good.

Away to Brighton next, should be fine

He could have taken Kane off for Llorente around the 75 min mark. It would have kept a presence up front, including a target for Lucas’ great runs and also kept the aerial ability to defend set pieces.

The Kane for Rose sub at 88 mins was just stupid.
