Not sure how anyone cannot put most of the blame here on Levy. The players and coaching staff look disillusioned. Going into the summer, there was supposed to be a brand new stadium for a young team with CL football for third straight year. It was the perfect moment to go for it, push further, make a real commitment to getting a trophy or two from this promising group.

That didn't happen obviously. I think just watching the players and Poch this year - they seem different. Like they were let down and now don't know what to do.

I sadly do believe this is the start of a major downturn for the club. Many of these top notch players will now look to move on with a disappointing season. We had our moment and Levy pissed it away. Sad really.
Levy and his MO has plenty to do with this but fucking hell, for the second time in three games they've let a 1-0 lead slip and lost the match.

The players and Poch have to take the blame as much as the bald headed one, you're still playing the fucking game of football.

How can anyone blame Levy? This is the exact same squad that beat and drew with Madrid, that beat Dortmund twice, drew with Juventus away from home etc. There is a distinct lack of pressing, lack of motivation and lack of concentration on the pitch. Is that Poch's fault? Is the blame with the players? Who knows? It's so lazy to blame the chairman but if I started performing at 70% in my job you would blame me first, then my manager.

Just an observation - but not a fan of Poch going to the all dark look.

Apropos of nothing, but as long as I am venting I figure I will get it all out.

Didn't watch the match due to the lack of coverage here in the US, but has it occurred to anyone that Lamela needed to be subbed for fitness reasons? He's among the most injury-prone players in the squad and is coming off of a muscle issue.

That's not to excuse the crisis we're in. The cataclysmic, historically unprecedented failure to sign a single fucking player has cast a spectre over this entire season. The fans were completely shell-shocked and I have no doubt, particularly in light of the of the way we have played thus far, that the players reacted the same way. It was undeniable proof of our lack of ambition on the pitch, and it had to be hugely unsettling to a group of players who thought they were building toward competing for trophies.

Poch is not blameless in all this, but raking him over the coals for what could have easily been a forced substitution seems wrong to me. The problem is not that Lamela was subbed per se, but rather that the squad is so thin that we can't cope with one player coming off without completely capitulating.

Got what we deserved. The defending at the end was pathetic, just like Watford. Headless chicken stuff. Lessons not learned.

When does it change for us , the mentality adopted at the death to concede a fucking corner just invites what happened do not pull every fucking player into the box and just lump it out. Keep players out of the defending area to press the ball that is cleared further up field. The panic fucking mentality is so painful to watch :-( gutted ......again.

Football evolves. Clubs need to keep moving to keep up. Us staying static has put a lot of pressure on the players and they are failing to cope with it.

Why be fucking motivated when the club have proven to have no belief in you? Seriously. Think about that for a second. I dont blame the players. The club obviously does not believe they will achieve anything as they refuse to make any investment to improve the team.

If people think we are going to get anything on Saturday they are completely deluding themselves. Brighton play an aggressive long ball football style and we will crumble like the weak little biscuit team we have become.

4 losses and then the real questions will get asked of our Poch, let’s see if he can recover from this as he is now sharing the “sack race” with a certain Rafa Benitez and I can see why!

I'm angry and pissed off.

The last 3 games have shown up all the bullish!t and lies that were fed to us during the summer.

Poch is being found out - as a manager, he's never won anything, and he won't win anything with Spurs either.

With our lack of signings (yet again, Levy showing his lack of ambition for success on the pitch) Poch should at least know our best starting eleven - but he clearly doesn't. And now he's reverting to nonsense and jibberish in his press conferences and post-match interviews - it's clueless stuff...

Blaming Levy?

He can’t really be blamed for some of our players looking a third of what they were last season.

Going into the season with a midfield consisting of an over the hill Dembele, a limited CM in Dier and two perma crooks in Winks and Wanyama is straight up neglect from Levy.

No wonder Poch or the players looks off as they know it's not getting any better than last season.

Dier needs to be put down. Never let him near a football in a spurs shirt. The guy is a fucking disaster. If it’s not blind back passes, it’s sideways balls, giving the ball away or pussying out of tackles. Bring back Wanyama of 2016-17
