I agree we need Hugo back, yes he's better than Vorm but that doesn't mean Vorm isn't good, he is, I am just not sure he is suits us as he is not a sweeper keeper or anything like it. A few times yesterday he should have come and collected but didn't and put defenders in awkward positions one of which led to Jan's air shot. Like I say, he is a good keeper I just think our defensive game changes when he plays.

it feels like we lose every game Vorm plays

Really need to learn some game management, this sort of result is happening for too often to be *unlucky*. Getting fuckjng embarrassing, would rather get thumped 3-0 than throw games like that.

Three 2-1 losses in a row. Not sure which one hurts the most. Probably the Watford one after the high of beating Man U.

Anyway, our "playing" out from the back concerns the hell out of me. Our pattern of play seems to be pass it back and forth between the gk and back 4 and then hope some spaces magically appear for the midfield. I think this happened once last night. The opposition seem more likely to get chances from our playing out from the back than we do!

It's ok to go long when the other team are pressing high, just fight for the second balls and then play in their half. We're our own worst enemies at the moment as we don't have central midfielders good enough to play this way.

Also yesterday I think the substitution of Lamela for Winks really cost us, mainly because Lamela was getting quite a few chances and we had them pegged back. Then that sub made us change from 4231 to a narrow 433 and we struggled from that point on.

I hate when someone says things like that. We are loosers and pussys but we were bigger loosers and pussys in 90s! Yeah!! As soon as fans, players, club get satisfied with being trophyless club who plays CL from time to time, we'll be back to where we were in 90s. I was sooo happy and excited after every of last 3 seasons. But not because we achieved something big but because we were going in right direction to achieve something big. Playing CL is just a step, next should be winning it. It's called ambitions.

Success is relevant to expectation. If your expectation is that we should win a trophy every year, otherwise rendering us ' loosers and pussys', then you're going to end up disappointed 9 times out of 10.

Success to me is more than trophies, it's about the individual moments as much as anything else - winning away at Chelsea for the first time in a generation, beating Madrid at home, Dortmund away. It's also about seeing the team you support progress, even if that progression ultimately falls short of winning the biggest trophies, something which we've only done twice in over 100 years of history.

Beating Chelsea in March feels like such a very long time ago.

Since then
- we failed to sign a single player despite making noises that now was the time
- the club have failed to communicate appropriately with the fans regarding the new stadium move
- we've had the announcement to playing in the new stadium delayed twice
- our club captain and usual perfect role model has tried to drive a car blind drunk
- our usually composed and calmly measured coach has started ranting and making baffling comments
- our talisman has completely lost his edge
- our fans are completely dismayed and have taken to fighting with each other
- club 'legends' are upsetting fans and belittling them

These bad decisions have to stop immediately and we all need to start to pull together.

I liked the tubby, jumpered Poch. The one who looked like he was nursing a hangover, or building up to his next one. He won games. Made sensible choices. Said sensible things. This new one is unhappy and at odds with what we’re used to
He looks and sounds like someone's who's just given up smoking.

I agree to an extent because what's the point in progression if it is immediately followed by regression?

This attitude is exactly why we will always be a small club.

Imagine this train of thought in any other area of life, ah in my early 20s I was earning 15k then I managed to get 45k and 6 months later I'm on 30k but that's alright because a decade ago I was on half this.

That's the claim that is winding him up!
Loads of fans are saying he is sucking up to Levy because he is employed by the club.

lol tbh he should just come of social media, he's an embarrassment.

He's one of these people who can dish it out but can't take it.

Yep, we have a losers mentality as a club.

Winners win, there's no other way of putting it. Yes I want to see us play nice football but when it comes to the important games and crucial times of the season, you do whatever it takes.

Us losing in injury time yesterday and Liverpool winning sums both clubs up. There's not much between our starting 11s and hasn't been over the past few years but if I had to bet on which club would win a trophy next I'd know who I'd be picking.

He should do, definitely. In fact last night he said he was deleting his account. His next tweet stated that he was not going to let this abuser win. This person wasn't abusing him btw. If you can't handle criticism you shouldn't be on there.

In contrast I think Stevens has handled everything much better, pointed out negatives but with an air of positivity. Whereas you can't point out anything negative without Roberts or Hazard trying to belittle you in some way.

Do you think that maybe that has more to do with the fact that they've improved their first XI with genuine quality year on year, rather than a 'loser's mentality', which mysteriously pervades the club at all levels, from the players right down to supporters on message boards?

I'd be interested to learn the mechanics of this mentality. Does it immediately consume an incoming player like Lucas (previously a 'winner', at PSG) the minute he steps out on to the pitch, or do the other more experienced players have to explain it to him?
