We need to move the ball much more quickly. The problems against Liverpool are the same problems we have anytime we lose poorly to a decent side or unexpectedly to a park-the-bus side. Too ponderous on the ball. Even Eriksen was awful on Saturday for repeatedly wanting an extra couple of seconds on the ball and getting nicked or simply turning us backwards.

To that end, play Moura, Son and Lamela together. They seem sharper of mind and feet than the stodgy performance we just had and hopefully a quicker tempo will lead to a more assertive attacking intent.

RB - SA and KWCP cover in this game
Going with JV and DS at CB (DS needs a game and ED will be cover for injury)
Gives TA and KT a few days rest.
Get used to more of this until, am guessing, we get to December....

Totally agree with the analysis to play quicker. Who makes up that group is a good question as i can see those three playing together and not having great cohesion. it could be chickens with their heads cut off. however, that might make sense dependent on who else you have in an attacking role if they can add some stability. but to be fair, it would be fun to experiment with those three and see how much havoc they create for any defense trying to bring the ball out. probably the best group we could have out there to score on turnovers in the opposing third. i'd love to see lamela next to moura closing down opposing players.

Thats a good team. Once all fit, then I'd have the usual suspects of Alli, Dier, Alderweireld, Trippier, Lloris, Rose & Eriksen in place of Lamela, Wanyama, Sanchez, Aurier, Vorm, Davies & Dembele, respectively.

The 1-4-2-3-1 would work as well, instead of my preferred formation of 1-4-3-3, by having Dier & Eriksen as the 2 behind the 3 attacking midfielders. Unsure why we don't have Eriksen playing in that role anyway? Pulling the strings from a deeper position.

A Well Balanced young Man, but why leave someone like Toby out ? He would start with any club in Europe, Why not rest Kane? He needs it, Big Time.

There’s an argument that we looked more solid last year with Sanchez in the side, compared to the last few games....

As a one off sample Toby was poor against Liverpool and maybe just maybe Poch knows best and is just rotating to give players a break I trust Poch to do the right thing . Defeat against Inter would not prove Poch wrong as we could have lost with any chosen team its time for fans to get behind Poch and the team

I'm still baffled as to why KWP hasn't started, both times he's play I'm pretty sure he got MoTM. Also, if he doesn't play Gazza tonight then he's clearly been on the MDMA.
