Is Levy getting blamed for Lewis mistakes?

Name a “realistic target” that is obtainable in this window, will make us immediately better and not just sit on the bench. Price it too, include fee, weekly wage, contract value and give your justification for the player.

I can’t think of one, I also think the way we operate in the transfer windows needs to change. January should be for offloading the bloat (Janssen etc) and signing prospects who have been ripping it up in small

Pay me to scour the world for players like we do our scouting department and I'm sure I could come up with at least a couple of players. I'm not naive enough to think it's incredibly easy to unearth players but we are talking about adding strength in depth to a team that could be losing Toby, Eriksen and Dembele within the next 7 months and possibly having to replace Wanyama who looks permacrocked at the moment.

I don't want to join the toys out the pram kids club because I have a very balanced view on the club and what we have achieved. Seriously concerned what Poch must be thinking if we literally don't sign anybody this whole season.

The summer window should be used for securing one or two established first team players.
I'd like us to set up some deals like the Pavard and Pulisic ones. (And don't ask me names, I'm not a scout.)

You do realise who both players have signed for right?

If you can't think of any names then that probably suggests something...

Yes, I know they've signed. That's why I said "like".

I'm not a professional scout. If I was, I'm sure I'd be able to give you a list.

Maybe because there's no others 'like' them that can be signed at the drop of a hat and those transfers highlights that players 'like' them are signed by money clubs.

You don't néed to be a pro scout to know that Pulisic and Pavard are good players with high potential, it's not their fault if the club cannot afford to buy those sort of players.

I meant "like" them in the sense of getting some players signed now for the summer...

Once we get rid of ENIC and LEVY, then we will be able to compete with more confidence of winning some trophies and titles. ENIC and LEVY = NO investment into the squad, they seem to be more interested in the propery business.

all eyes on levy now, injuries mounting up, signing/s are a must this window

what do we do with them all once our team gets injury free? you do know we can only register a 25 man squad, which we have 1 player already collecting a wage for nothing, and contributing to 2 players out on loan.

@SirNiNyHotspur just like a few others, you get a bad rating given too you and you find a post to give one back.

I asked a question, if you have an answer to the question answer it.

I gave you my answer in my last post, (remember always a buyer at right price) we have too big a squad as we haven't offloaded in the summer as we want to sell high and buy low, is why Levy ended with fuck all and we find ourselves where we are, I'm not in a ratings war, I know Levy is popular on here so thereby anything negative said about him more likely than not will draw neg reps, so back to point in this case the Doh rep for yourself couldn't be more fitting...

GKN & Dembele are both part of that 25 man squad & both do not have a future with us so thats an extra 2 spots available, levy has to cut his losses and get rid of the other deadwood to free up funds, its either that or risk not making the top 4 because injuries cost us dropped points

see this is where your so wrong

if teams are quoting us 40+m for a player how is that attempting to buy low? yet you expect us to just give players away.

we went for players in the summer Ajax wouldn't sell De ligt at near on 50m and wanted the player back for 2 seasons. De Jong wants to play for Barca. Grealish wasn't worth a 35m gamble. how are they buying low. Not sure if we went for NDombele but Lyon had just got him for 8m, how the hell do you expect him to be valued at 50m after 1 season in a League that's on par with the Championship

we tried to sell Toby a top class CB how much should we of sold him for

we tried to sell Dembele, and a few others. the only players that have no value are N'Koudou and Janssen how do you know we wasn't selling at a loss just because no one bought them.

you can't sell players under their value and expect to buy quality after. you also got to understand that even though you want to sell a player, they might not want to go to that club, and accept lower wages, do you expect us to give players away then subsidies their wages too?

The WC was a big disruption, and after giving 5-6 players well improved new contracts we then had news on the stadium, which is costing millions just in refunds and renting. we have also since heard Poch had a list of players he wanted, if they never came in he wanted no 1, he doesn't want players that are plan B because if they don't work, we are back to square 1 in having trouble in getting rid of.

An that's just a couple of examples, we've also had quite a few struggling with long term injuries on off (Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Lamela) we had the world cup (most off our 1st team more potential for injuries or loss of form) Son away two times now, players coming to end of contract issues (Alderweireld), players not wanted (Llorente, Janssen, GKN, somewhat Aurier) didn't take a genius to foresee potential problems this season had we not bought a few, only thing many didn't forsee was Sissoko getting Levy out of a major fucking hole, without him stepping up this season we would have had no midfield to add to our fullbacks that are badly in need of a major upgrade if we want to be winners.

as Ive said in my above post "the players have to want to sign for those teams"

I believe we need to get 2 HG so we can name a 25 man squad in the CL, unfortunately there isn't many top CM that are HG. hopefully we will promote our GK if he now qualifies and replace Vorm

@SirNiNyHotspur yet again

your explanation only goes down if your playing FM manager. what Ive put is from what I've seen through the summer and up to now.

prove to me or explain what we should of done. the players you listed in your reply to someone else, prove to me that we had offers and refused because they where too low.

no one made an offer for Rose, even though we mentioned he was for sale.

Wanyama who is going to buy a player with a serious injury, and did anyone offer us anything for injury prone Lamela?

offers where made for Dembele, he was at the world cup, but he turned offers down to move to Italy.

GKN we gave him to Burnley last season on loan, he obviously didn't do enough, and no 1 came in for him.

Janssen yet again why would someone buy a player that's injured

Levy will not spend for anyone. He doesnt give a shit where we are. He should have invested this summer and chose not to. He’s essentially been driving Poch to United or Madrid with his bs since the summer. Poch wont stay and I dont blame him. Why be at a club where the chairman doesnt back you despite taking the club as far as possible without backing? We need to be sold.
