Robert K. Kraft, Billionaire and owner of NFL's New England Patriots and MLS's New England Revolution, as well as the stadium where they play, Gillette Stadium has just been interviewed by Skysports where he admitted, having been beaten to Liverpool by Hicks and Gillet he was still very keen on purchasing a Premier League club. When pressed by the interviewer whether that club was in London he stumbled about with the question before finally admitting he was not prepared to disclose the location.

Is Kraft looking at launching a takeover bid for Tottenham?

Given that Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle of the big clubs have either been taken over or as in Arsenal’s case boardroom deadlock has been reached and Tottenham’s recent impressive financial results and the less impressive actions and popularity of the board; is this an indication that Tottenham may be the subject of a takeover bid from Kraft?

The only team that might be of interest for a takeover might be Man Utd if the Glazer family decided to cash in. Has anybody else heard anything more about this?

Heard nothing and thought nothing of it. Now where is the Steve Nash bid?

Kraft is an odd one. As the owner of the New England Patriots, he has been a godsend. However he did move the team at one time, so he's not to be trusted.

Also, he has a club here in the States: the New England Revolution. Yeah, I know - bad name. He has treated this little franchise like a red-headed step child.

My take: he loves the Patriots. He won't love Spurs. He'll treat them like the Revs and it will be bad news.
