Im fed up of hearing miss piggy slate us in the press with her lies. The NDP is dead, we have no other alternative.

The stadium photos are impressive, why don't we all get behind Levy? The club needs to move forward.

Maybe some of us don't believe the NDP is dead and suspect it's all part of the Levy PR machine.

That's according to Levy. I'm not sure that's true. Until I am shown why the NDP, which still provides the backdrop for most banners on the Official Site, including the page where the Stratford Stadium is presented, I shall be against moving.

We should need convincing that we need to move away from Tottenham, not the other way around.

Whether the NDP is or isn't dead is not the issue. If we are to look at what is best for the club then we should be backing the move. Remaining in Tottenham restricts future growth and current earning ability regardless of stadium costs, due to its less appealing location.

The fact is the OS will launch spurs into the upper echelons of football consistently whereas the NDP HAShas the greater risk against it.

Let me put it this way- if we don't win Stratford, the NDP isn't viable, and a new ground is ten years away. If we do win it, then we'll never know, but there's a better chance it was viable.

I was in this camp. I thought Levy was playing one big game of poker with this.

But now I'm unconvinced. I think Levy wants Stratford now. Either that or he's one fucking awesome poker player.

It's important that the oplc don't think we are just in it as one of two options as that may affect their decision so if it is his pr machine, good, either way I suspect your are right and he is one fucking awesome poker player:)

I wouldn't fancy my chances against him in a poker battle that's for sure!

It does all make sense. I just wonder what he really wants? On the surface it's 110% Stratford, is that what he really wants though?

I don't think anybody can doubt Levy wants what's best for the club. But whether he wants the future in Tottenham or elsewhere, none of the fans know. I just want some answers direct from Levy to the fans (via the webiste), I don't like how he's doing all the interviews with Talksport, SSN etc saying the 'NDP is dead'. But then like you said it could all be plot to secure the OS as an option. Levy lies and I hope the whole 'NDP is dead' is another one of his big lies.

It could (as noted elsewhere) be all part of the game to secure the land surrounding WHL cheaper from Haringey (I assume it's Haringey who own the land we require that we would need compulsory purchase orders for?) plus who knows what else?

What Stratford does have in its favour is the AEG backing plus a myriad of options for festivals, music gigs, etc, etc which we would have a percentage of profit from. This could never happen in Tottenham, the current transport infrastructure would be a nightmare for that sort of thing.

I just can't figure Levy out. I guess all will become clear in the coming weeks/months.

I just wonder, if Levy, the man of profits, is doing all this to get the costs of the NDP down, what would it say about those who are pro Stratford when even the money man Levy wasn't really serious about moving to West Ham territory.

I think we have already been over this ''pro stratford'' business, pro for me is wanting it as a first option, it's not mine and I dare say most others on here would have the same feeling.

Nearly everyone would prefer the NDP, the 99% figure would be more accurate used with this, but we are open to the move if it is our only option and it's best for our club.

Being open to it, is not the same as being pro

Now if it was stay at 36k or the OS, then yes I would consider myself pro OS, as no new stadium is the worst outcome for me.

I personally don't think the NDP is dead, Levy simply knows that it will be a lot more expensive than the Olymic Stadium and doesn't want to put further doubts in the selectors minds about our OS bid. If the committee have it in their heads that we have the NDP to fall back on, they will be more inclinded to give the OS to west ham and let us stay where we are.

If you look back to our original plans, the NDP was intended to be completed by the end of 2011. The fact we'd barely even secured planning permission before this whole OS situation arose proves there were a lot of added costs/stubling blocks that delayed the project. I don't think this means the project is necessarily dead, but it is clear that the OS site is a lot more attractive commercially and financially for the club- thus Levy has chosen this option.

I'd agree with that. I don't see how a project like that can almost over night become 'not viable'.

There needs to be more information given on why it's not viable before I'll swallow it 100%, but if a move to Stratford does save around 200m, then I'm happy because I want this doing well, but as cheaply as possible so as not to financially cripple us for the next 10-20 years.

Trouble is I'm not sure what backing the club means: supporting whatever Harry says? Whatever Levy says?
These guys are temporary unlike us fans and they have their own agendas.

Fans certainly want the best for Tottenham, good football leading to success on the pitch.
In their own interests both Harry and Levy want success but how they define it or set out to achieve it might be different from the way we see it.

But it is unclear whether that means supporting the OS, or the NPD. or whatever scheme is declared viable today.

Backing Harry on Beckham,Van Bommel,Piennar,Neville?
There is room for opinions in all these matters.
If I argue against them am I selling the club short?

If we'd got Neville we would have had a right back on Sat, if Benni gets injured what do we do? Van Bommel an upgrade on Wilson (i'd say so). Piennar? Well Harry likes him and I think for £3m a good deal. Beckham? Poss replacement for Harry if he joins England (this will look more likely if we do sign him in the summer), attracting millions in sponsorship/merchandising. All 4 with a lot of CL experience and league champions (did Piennar win with Ajax?).
Each fan will have a different view, and the manager and chairman will also. They also have to look at other factors than we do.
Fan see's us not playing Dos Santos and thinks Harry has a grudge against him.
Harry see's Dos Santos turning up late for training and putting no effort in. Just an example (and maybe not fact) but I know who sees the picture better.
