Midfielder Moussa Dembele admits he has no idea why he has slipped out of the starting eleven picture at Tottenham Hotspur, but stressed he is keen to remain positive regardless.

With his raw strength and ridiculous dribbling abilities. Dembele should be running games with ease like Yaya Toure.

maybe s spell out will wake up up.

Maybe being miffed is the reason he isn't in the squad. He has those homer simspson eyes so probably another dopey player not getting it.

Disappointed that Poch isn't engaging every single one of his players.
You see, this is interesting because other players have said poch has one-to-one meetings with them and there is an open door policy and players are free to walk through it and speak to poch.

It's international time and dembele is trying to muddy the water.

You're not getting picked because you're not playing well enough, moosey. The water is still crystal clear to me.

No positive forward play, no drive and no end product................... that's probably the reason you have dropped out of the 1st team.

Start knuckling down instead of drifting through your career then you might actually fulfil your potential!

Just maybe it's because of his way of playing. He certainly likes to keep hold of the ball and beat at least one opponent before passing. Perhaps he should re-invent himself and play one touch passes to move the ball quicker.

Why should Poch sit him down and give him a talk about why he has dropped out the first team?

This comes back to mentality, instead of sulking about not being in the team put in more effort to prove to the manager you SHOULD be in the team. There is no god given rights about being a first team player you have to earn that right.

At the moment Dembele is not doing that.

He is hardly sulking is he?

He is simply answering a line of questioning put to him by a journalist.

I'd be disappointed if Capoue was getting picked ahead of me at the moment and I'm shit

Poch should be talking to him about improving his game. No excuses for not doing that.

However...if Dembele doesn't understand why he's not in the team, then he's never going to be getting to the level thats required of him.

That's what I've been saying about him for close to 2 years. And I got so many negs when I first started saying he was a hindrance to our attack and did nothing except dribbling from sideline to sideline.

He's set in his ways and too old to learn new tricks.

Firstly it's worrying that he doesn't know himself that his performances have been poor and seconfly it's worrying Pochettino hasn't told him this is why!

Does nobody speak at our club?

He should and probably does have a good idea, but I still like him and really want him to get a run with Mason. He's already lost confidence and rhythm, and the only way to restore it is to play Prem tempo football, not Thursday nights. If Poue is chosen at Hull, I will totally despair of Pochs judgement (Kaboul and Ade are the other two). And want him out immediately.

He's welcome to his three years of opportunity only IF his player selection improves.

Poch said he is deliberately distant with some players, when he chooses. So I don't buy into this "Why should Poch sit him down" argument

Every player needs to be addressed. Personally it's sounding like AVB, with the distance and the 1-2-1. I think 1-2-1's are important but not as much so as regular squad meetings.

EDIT: Not speaking to players at all is mental.
