Anybody watch Leeds much to give us a review?
Seen him a few times and has impressed me a lot. The first time I saw him he performed really well (think he came on - might have been at half time) and I'd never heard his name. Looked him up and was shocked to see he was only 18.

All for this, but would rather we didn't loan him back.

I wonder if we could give them GKN on loan in return, he played under Bielsa at Marseille IIRC

Much like last season with Sessegnon judging performances in the championship is dangerous. The difference in quality between pl to champ is vast. He looks quite good though when I’ve seen him and Brooks has stepped up well.

However...why on earth would Leeds sell a HG player contracted until 2021 mid season when they could be about to finally be promoted? Much like Fulham surely it makes sense waiting as after a good year in PL there’s potential his value could treble. That’s ignoring what price you could put on him, he’s 18 and been one of their best players recently. If I was them I’d easily value him at £30-40m considering potential, we would barely offer half that.

Feels like another no chance type of link.

This window’s Grealish, not going to happen, we can’t afford Championship anymore. Maja at Sunderland is more in our price bracket.

Exactly this, tbh, if I was him I would stay this season and potentially next season if they go up. Bielsa is also a good coach to work under if your an attacker and you don't fall out with him. And as you say, why wouldn't they ask for mega money.

John Cross... 50% good 50% nonce but this seems the first believable transfer piece in a while.

Clearly talented but raw. IMO he needs another full year of playing full time football before he's ready but we all know by then he'd go elsewhere because we'd baulk at the fee.

He should get that printed on his business cards.

Please tell me he's an orphan. I'm sick of hearing about mother and fathers interfering with our deals.
nah, even if he's an orphan the master of orphanage would ask us to include periodic donation to the orphanage in his remuneration package so the deal falls through

Personally I think he’ll want to stay at Leeds for now. Relatively local, up through the academy, potentially successful club and only 18. Must be living the dream at the moment. Plenty of time for him.

Am sure this was against Villa when he changed the dynamics of their attack. Very good on the ball but still raw. Watched Leeds all season. I have liked watching them this year rather than Hull. He has found a lot of form under Bielsa. If I remember correctly he also scored in the game at forest. Good feet, technically gifted but still learning (obviously) he usually comes in off the right side in most games but does switch to get the ball. Not afraid to shoot but is better at feeding Roofe or Klich

Is he ready for us? No.

Will he be? Yes if he carries on with the way his potential is showing. Be good to loan for another year as I doubt he will be ready just yet. Bit like Skipp will flit on the squad for a year then will slowly get more game time.

I think this is obviously the case isn't it? Why would he commit given their situation? He has no downside - we'll be there for him in the summer if they don't get promoted

plus he is a local lad, well from York, so he might be a Leeds fan and not want to go anywhere right now.
