If he's sorted out his issues then he'd be a young, homegrown (but not club raised) player for the squad. He has talent, that's never been in question, but he got caught going off reservation again and again when he was young - normal teenage behaviour, of course, but abnormal for a dedicated professional athlete. Perhaps his time in the Championship hastaught him that talent alone won't keep him on top, or whatever lesson he had to learn? I haven't seen much about him lately (not that I go looking for tabloid nonsense about Championship players) but whether that's because he's got his act together or he's just a much smaller name after two years outside the Premier League I can't say.

I know Pochettino has form for keeping egos in check, but unless he's convinced that Grealish brings more to the table than any off-field issues, then this one is just paper talk.

I think if Poch took him under his wing he could work wonders with him as he obviously has a lot of raw talent, perhaps he’s just lacked a bit of guidance. He seems to have knuckled down this season and has been their standout player. Can’t see us going for him tho.

"Are likely to be interested" so no actual interest at this stage.

So much terrible journalism in this country.

He's a good player, but we should be aiming higher after three consecutive top 4 finishes.

Whether or not we have the ambition to aim higher is another matter altogether.

Take this with a pinch of salt but my mate is a friend of Poch's son. Poch said he gave Levy a list of three potential top young midfield talents , 2 in Europe 1 in Argentina, all for £20-40m.

Levy said we are not that ambitious so he's preparing a bid for Grealish. He is using his links with the Star to get a journalist to help unsettle the player.

Yeah he's decent but I have no interest in him what-so-ever.

Funny but also sounds the most like Levy of the ITK we have had. :ROFLMAO:

The cryptic from The Goat, someone came up with Grealish. These sites save the so called journos hours in actual work, so they can spend more time in the pub.
I'm laughing at that but it's probably true.

Not sure what he brings to the party.. Not quick, strong, athletic or a prolific creator of goals.. He'll be chewed up by City, Utd and Liverpool's midfield.. wide berth please
