Villa fans not happy at all about the rumour that we have bid only 15 mil for him.
Some think that he's worth 30 mil + but he's totally unproven at the EPL level. Dele came in at 5 mil only a few years ago.
Also, the player I hope does think about the best spot for him to develop. As others have said, Spurs vs the graveyard that is Chelsea should be obvious, but if a young players head is turned by money, then we know where he will want to go.

After he bought the club the Chinese government introduced currency export controls that means he is unable to support Villa in the way he had intended. Maybe that qualifies as bad management for some?

Yeah - chatting to a Villa fan, the problem is that he has the £ but cannot access it (in the UK or China, not sure) to pay the HMRC.

You can't possibly believe that losing matches in the prem automatically means that you are unproven in the prem? On the contrary winning easily is far more likely the case and in spite of the fact that the Villa team was poor and Young he was very good and stood out.
