Not discrediting what you say but just curious, how much scouting does Poch actually do?

I got the impression the itk meant, by details, that Villa are looking ay the best way to progress, how much they need up front or is it better to spread payments with a little up front due to tax man and outgoings so to speak. We may actually be happy with the price so are being flexible on payments.

As in we all think squad maybe odd start here and there or 10 min cameo but in reality he will surprise us all and be really good.

I also reckon he will be in the England squad within 6 months playing for us.

Got to agree with this - so much so that it twisted my wrist to register after years of lurking. This guy has tremendous balance and awareness. Receives the ball centred like Modric - able go either way. His near-death experience in 2017 seems to have sorted the attitude. For me, arguably the most exciting prospect this window.

I look at Grealish this way : compare him to recent young, English CMs , who have come into the first squad. Mason, Winks and Dele come to mind. For me, Grealish has more potential than Mason & Winks, but not Dele. Still, after working with Poch, all were capped and were part of the Spurs first squad. If Grealish develops between those other CMs for about 20M - I'm good with that.

Fairs, but I think it was worth posting anyway. IMO there are people who genuinely think that all media stories are taken from this site, which is unfair on the journalists, some of whom (not all) actually have very good sources themselves.
