Football should be for everyone. In the end high ticket pricess will exclude a huge part of the people supporting the club ending with a huge chunk of the seats beeing owned by companies wanting to take potential clients to games and tourists visiting. Football should be for families, single households, students etc poor or rich. And you can all talk about Spurs being a company that needs profit, but without there fans in the stadium spurs aint spurs.

Erm, football is for everyone. Spurs have a premium product, we are not stopping you from going to the park with a ball or going to watch a lesser product.

Rumour going around that he’s now off to Crystal Palace.

Edit: Actually looks like total BS from some redcaf knobs.

On the financial side our transfer budget will be based on the projected earnings for this season so I would expect a rise in our budget.
However, more money doesn't alter who wants to come here. The big names still want Real, Barca etc so we still have to wait until they have done their business.

I'm sure we could have paid 40 million and Jack would already be here but none of us believe he is worth that so we will wait until Villa realise our bid is acceptable.

Having more money won't change anything in the short term which is why our transfer window feels the same as every other one.

Supply and demand. While there is more demand for seats than we have seats available then the club will increase the prices to get the most out of it to be able to try and continue to play at the highest level we can. If the demand drops for seats then I can see prices coming down to make sure we still have as high a revenue as possible.

The obscene wages players are on have to be generated somehow so that fans can say 'he's worth every penny'. Most players earn more in a week than most people earn in a year, and the elite earn more in a month than most earn in a lifetime.

I see what you're saying, that most people should become football players.
