OS
ALDERSHOT LOAN FOR MUNNS

Posted 19 October 2012 1:59pm

Jack Munns has joined League Two side Aldershot on a one-month loan.

The young midfielder scored seven goals in 22 matches in the Premier Academy League last term and has featured three times in the Barclays Under-21 League this time around.

Best of luck to him. First of the outfield 1993 year (Archer, gk has already been on loan) to go out on loan. Hopefully will get as much or more game time than at Spurs where there is a stroing compliment of midfield players.

Unused sub as Aldershot lost at home to Rotherham (3-0 down at time of writing), a day after going on loan

Good luck to him. I saw him playing in one of the nextgen games last season, he was a small quick right-winger, and looked quite a good player. I don't know if he always plays on the right or not.

Quite small but very energetic central/right midfield player, quite good at riding tackles. Possibly not the most technical player (but that's when you compare him against the likes of Pritchard) but certainly a whole hearted player. can score a few goals as well.

One of his best attributes is maybe that he always makes himself available for a teammates pass if the teammate looks like running into trouble - even when receiving the pass puts himself under pressure, but then he makes a decent attempt to get the ball away. Definitely a team player and one you want on the team for that, but as I say more of a water carrier (in the nicest possible way) and an asset to have on the bench even if not required in the starting lineup.
