And we are glad to have you back Jan; the question now is: when is Fredrico going to join you?

Is it just me or do others feel the same way...Vertonghen is the most overrated defender i can remember he makes so many silly errors any other defender making the errors he does would be slated.

Agree he has been off form and think most would agree.
However I feel a large chunk of what made him so good were his forward runs with the ball which I felt were drummed out of him under AVB. Why would a cb need to go forward when you're playing 2 def midfielders in front of back four... (at home.... against the mighty Norwich. Unbelievable).
Anyway, Im hoping we see that return and with it confidence and looking like he's actually enjoying it.
He's another one like Soldado in that, should we let him go, he'll be bloody awesome for his next club I bet my left maple nut.

Thats is the meth around Vertonghen...his best moments were when he played left back breaking forward. At CB I feel Vertonhen is overrated.

I am glad he is back as well, best CB at the club and i hope he can show the form that got him picked in the Prem team of the season in his first year here.

again at the world cup he played left back.
Didn't watch the WC as not a big fan of international football (well England mainly), however plenty of people said he wasn't that good - goal aside. Were they wrong?

He was different player at WC. Proper player, unrecognizable from last season for us.
