Would we potentially look at him now to replace Llorente? Assuming Hamburg wouldn’t sell at this point and he would want game time unfortunately

he looks to be a hot shit talent. he's scored for fun at every level but the senior where he only has a handful of games. why would they sell him?

Contract running down. Also has Harry Kane posters on his wall and shouts “Kane to Arp.. gooooooaaal” when he scores in training.

They may as well get a good fee... :sneaky:

I think Janssen would really suit the Bundesliga perhaps Hamburg would like him and we'll give them some money too, maybe.

He looks a talent but mega raw, certainly one for the future not necessarily the now. After all he's only played 591 mins of senior football.

He is not a regular starter for Hamburg so its not inconceivable that they would let him leave. His game time at Spurs would not be too different than what he gets at Hamburg were he to come in as second choice,

He has 18 months left on his contract for one thing.
It's exactly the kind of signing we would make. High potential, attainable and as you say 18 months to roll on his contract. Herc said we had hands in many pies, so I wonder if we have progressed far with this one to the point of putting in a firm offer and are waiting for all other ventures to fall away before we make an official bid.

I'd much rather have a player like this as back up to Kane because Poch can mould him into the player he wants him to be, similar in ways to Kane but without the added pressures of having to be a success immediately.

Hopefully this kid will learn a lesson from the Sessegnon situation and not extend his contract. If Tottenham is his favorite club he needs to understand the situation so we can avoid them jacking up the fee to a crazy number.

Anything on this player in ITK? I just got spammed for suggesting Werner as a 'young German player'. Is the RO up to date? He looks ok but he's 17 yeah? So one for the future maybe.

As much as i love this kid, it wouldn’t be a wise careeer move to sign for us. He needs to play every week for his development, he’s too similar to play alongside Kane, so he would face months just getting the occasional 5 minute sub appearances here and there.

On the flip side of that, he'd also be playing/training with one of the very best strikers in world football, as well as working under one of the best & most respected young coaches in Europe.

I get your point but there'd be positives for him to take into account also.
