Janssen put in a lot of graft and hit a lot on target. He wasn't the easiest to deal with although his goal scoring was poor. Llorente was brilliant against Madrid, some very Sherigham and Gudjohnsen esqe type play, but not seen that happen again. Vinnie shades it for me

assume we write off janssen and llorente, next time if we want a back up to kane we should not go for a pure number 9, but a more versatile player like son

Shocked to see so many go for VJ over Fernando Llorente!
Fernando Lorrente oozes class, I bet a lot of the squad look up to him. He has won big honours. Was one of the top strikers in Europe for years and scored 15 goals for Swansea last season! Proving he can do it in PL too. He is perfect as a back up for Kane, and I bet he has taught Kane and others a thing or two since arriving.
VJ can only dream of having half the career Llorente has had, I think we need to cut VJ loose he has not taken his chances and needs to prove him self again at another level, don’t think that is PL football if he can’t cut it in the Turkish league either.

Llorente for me. His experience is very helpful for our young squad. He's been there and done it.

Llorente as he has a confidence and a canniness right now that VJ just doesn’t and is important at end of games when he’ll be most appearing. We’re also packed with young players and need a couple of older heads.

But don’t think either is ideal really. Llorente will be put out to pasture in not too long, so he hasn’t solved a problem long term, whereas VJ might have done that (Altho it really didn’t look like it)

Edit: just seen results. Wow. The VJ fan club is strong

Voted for Janssen due to work rate and age. However, the truth is that neither are what we need. We want forwards who can score goals and, whatever Llorente once was, these two muppets can’t.

Isn’t this a bit like asking if you’d rather bone Vanessa Feltz or Fern Britton? Both horrible and both likely to give me nightmares for years.

So neither thanks. Get someone else and perhaps a small pacey striker to allow us to mix things up.

Llorente is a player short of confidence, but then again so was Janssen, so neither is good enough to be our 2nd striker.

Need someone who can put at least one of the kind of chances Llorente had tonight away.

Janssen is actually a lot better, and trust me I was not a massive fan of him either.

Llorente is fucking poverty and I feel sorry for our U23 strikers who aren't able to take his minutes.

Sell both but Janssen still goes into the Soldado pile for me of players that had things gone slightly differently could've worked out and who I desperately wanted to succeed:(

Llorente on the other hand goes in the Ryan Nelsen pile.
