Was it really only one goal? God, I remember being so excited we signed him.

Yeah unfortunately it was only 1 goal but what a goal! I remember Hoddle really bigging him up when he signed. I expected great things but just didn't work out for the lad ?❤

Janssen is the only player I've ever watched who left me thinking that he hadn't actually played football very much. The offside rule seemed something that he'd only just had explained to him. Not in a Jermain Defoe 'not the brightest' kind of way, but like he literally didn't know what it was, and would just stand there, totally offside as if he wasn't quite sure of the rules.

I can't believe they literally stripped the shirt off him, in public no less. For shame. He seems a nice guy; I'm sure he'd have willingly handed it over if they'd just asked nicely.

Surely we can flog him for 10-15 mil to a team back in Holland ? That'll cover the cheese costs for the first couple of seasons at NWHL.

Maybe he cancelled his direct debit with the club of borrowing the shirt so levy sent out a task force to get it back.

He’d only played two seasons of professional football, one in the second division of the Dutch league, so he hadn’t played much football. I think you’re being harsh though.

For some reason we completely overlooked that and the club expected him to step up and play at a ridiculously high level compared to his previous experience (even though he’d played international football).

You gotta think he's either REALLY bad or has a bad attitude for him to be totally frozen out by Poch, the same man who made Sissoko go from zero to player of the month.

Seems odd we didn't give the number 9 to Llorente or even Moura rather than leave vacant?

(unless we have some super duper signing lined up to take it LOL - probably not gonna be Martial now sadly as Mourinho no longer ruining him at Man united...).
