I’m a Spurs fan but a season ticket holder at Hull city (long story but live there and my son loves going every week). Seen a lot of Bowen and he’s a good player but not Spurs level. He might suit a Burnley or Palace but I can’t see him in our 1st team. Hull will miss him massively but i’m disappointed if this is the level of player on our radar.

Just to add, although it means nothing these days, Hull’s owner released a statement to season ticket holders last week to say that following recent good form they are not selling any of the star players.

Over the last few seasons only 2 players at Hull made the impression on me that I would love Spurs to sign them and that’s Harry Maguire and Andy Robertson. I’ve never sat there thinking I hope we sign Bowen.

Well this is certainly a glowing endorsement ? ...

In my opinion, if we're looking at wingers / attacking midfielders from the Championship there are much better options.

Eze - QPR - silky, skilful but intelligent on the ball
Watkins - Brentwood - fast, can get past his man and solid finisher
Clarke - Leeds - only 18, fast, direct runner, good decision maker and end product, much higher ceiling than Bowden IMO...
Grealish - Villa - obviously have already spoken at length about him during the summer, but he's such an elegant player on the ball and I think he'd flourish under Poch

Really like the look of Clarke, think he has a big future.

This makes no sense to me, as Pochettino himself said that he has not heard of him, so why are we being linked with him?

JJ on twitter apparently not in for Bowen...

WTF Levy?!?!?!?

Jk, don't really care.

What shows less ambition than signing a player from the Championship. Not signing a player form the Championship at all.

Shame, his numbers are incredible this year. Far ahead of Maddison and Grealish of last year.

I think his numbers are great, but he's a finisher rather than a playmaker. We need someone who can get their foot on the ball and spot a pass. He would be useful if the numbers where right, but ideally we'd get someone like him and someone like Maddison. Don't rate Grealish, I think he dwells too long on the ball.

I’m not 100% sure we need him, plays a similar position to Moura and Edwards, if we want to olace faith with what we have. However, at least looking at players like this, we seemed to have a plan, if we’re not buying the finished article, then buy potential.
Makes me wonder if we have a transfer plan at all.
