One minute its Michelin star dining, the next its a KFC carry out

If only, this transfer window isn't even looking like a big Johns. They may be cheap and fast but least they're satisfying

We're in Asda 'Opps' price reduced plain ham sandwich territory

Because he is nowhere near the level of player we should be signing. Do you think he is?

Could you see any of the other top 6 pursuing him? I couldn’t.

He is a decent player, but not the level we need any more.

Thankfully some ITK has just stated there’s no way we are in for him.

Worse than that, this is a Sainsbury meal deal.

Even the thought of this second rate signing makes me sad as to where this window might lead us if i'm honest.

I'm still trying to figure out how the Burnley Express constitutes a UK mainstream media outlet. The bong must be doing the rounds.

Plus wondering how upset Jimmy Anderson might be at having them use one of his monikers.

When I was a kid, home-grown meant stuff Dad brought home from his allotment. Now it means something else much less palatable to fans dreaming of marquee overseas signings. We shouldn’t deride links of this sort. Home grown squad players are the poles that support the marquee - except of course that if they were Poles they wouldn’t be home-grown.:)

Rodriguez imo would of been a good purchase he's played under Poch before and can also play wing forward.

He's also 29 and hasn't had a decent season for about four years. His one England cap was five years ago.

We need to stop living in the past.
