I might be getting the ITK mixed up but wasn't something said about one of the positions having a backup option in the premier league, maybe the backup is Barkley and Seri is our first choice, and now ITK is saying we havnt moved on from our first options and Poch said this in regards to Barkley. "I think we have different targets"

I think we had some confirmation via likes and the sort (I have no idea), that the first choice is 'the Italian chap' and that Barkley wasn't a back up..could be totally wrong. I read that from poch and simply put, I wouldn't expect any manager to come out and say we have one target and only one target. Negotiation nightmare if Everton had us over a barrel like that.

Another player that whilst I think we could probably do with, especially as we are now looking a little light in CM, I don't think we're interested in paying what they want. Even if we were, this will drag on until after the CL qualifiers, so a last minute deal at best. Even then I can see arsenal coming in and gazumping us with wages

Winks is 5 years younger, already knows the Pochettino way well, is way better suited for the league in physical stature, and in 5 years from now, when he is the present age of Seri, he will have eclipsed his own present level and that of Seri two times over before breakfast. Does he actually have a position? He played well for France there in the Euro's but doesn't look suited to our ethos.
Dembele, Winks, Wanyama, Dier and if Barkley comes he can do a job in the Dembele role. That is plenty of cover and I'd say that is the only reason we aren't chasing Seri as he looks a tidy player. Reminds me of Paul Scholes passing range.
Anyone that thinks Barkley can't do the Dembele role should watch the highlights of him vs us at the lane.

I think there was confusion over this. The pilot got his iPhone out and just said "Siri. Tell me how to get to Stansted."
Obviously bloke misheard this as "Seri" and all he'll broke loose with Chinese whispers.
