I'm not dismissing the lad (I know absolutely nothing about him) but I am urging caution. After-all, look at this attacking, goal-scoring powerhouse

Seriously, what happened to Moose? Can we have an intervention and show him this video. He was making some good runs, his shots would actually rise above toe level and he was scoring goals

:(

Further evidence that he does have those alleged hip ligament problems IMO. Just far too many signs to ignore.

Seems DaSpurs has hit the nail on the head. the player we get to see in that Spurs shirt is NOTHING like the bloke in those videos.

I actually followed his recovery progress with well known belgian physio Lieven Maesschalck ( who uses some great techniques to help players come back stronger) and i am really suprised he is not as explosive. I have to say his mentality probably plays into it as well. He doesn't seem to have that drive or desire to be the best player he can be. Shame because physically and technically very few can match up to him.

I think you're probably right. Is the best explanation for why he does so well in the open space of the middle third, but it's like he meets a force field that is the collapsed spaces of the final third, and he just dishes the ball off. Just no will to have a go.

He also appears to me to be more and more languid in his running and movements. More lunging than shifty movements that you would see of a more agile player, which is essentially trying to place more strain on those long muscles overlying the hip rather than placing that strain on the ligaments of the hip itself to make those quick changes in direction. So to me he just does not look physically and mentally recovered. Useful player in certain scenarios, but expensive and not the one we need to push on.

For those with the knowledge of the dutch league, what kind of fee would we be looking at for this kid?

like the look of him against ajax on ss5 right now. got pace, directness but also looks for teammates with quick passing.

just had one cleared off line /(and now shanked a cross on his left foot for a goal kick...)

Just been subbed off 88th min, only watched the 2nd half very firey, aggressive game, nearly spilled over a few times. Thought boetius looked ok, lively, had a header hit one of his own players on the line, I'm not sure it wasn't going wide anyway and got brought down when possibly last man but not given.

Clasie though should be under serious consideration for our new cm though

Was just about to say this. Every time I've seen him play he looks very good defensively and has lovely passing. Him next to Bentaleb would be a very solid pairing with great passing ability. Players from the Eredivisie seem to settle very well in England too, so he would be a relatively low risk signing given how cheap clubs in that league sell their players

Him and Clasie were definitely the standouts in the 2nd half. Should of had a goal but his header hit his team mate Kazim-Richards on the line. Also got in behind the last defender and got taken down, but the ref was very lenient today. Quick with good movement, definitely the main danger for Feyenoord and would be good competition for Chadli in my opinion.

Whether it's he has grown up and filled out or injury or a mix both but it's a shame hopefully poch can get him fighting fit and coach him mentally cause you can see that mental block.

Can someone tweet that video on the spur page remind everyone

I think my post should be taken tongue-in-cheek. I fully appreciate we wouldn't get their captain and another up-and-coming star for £16m. Would be looking at probably £22-25m for the pair.

And I'd still view that as a bargain. Both have huge potential and I think Clasie could jump right into our starting XI.
