Jenas joins Villa on loan

01 September 2011

We have reached agreement for Jermaine Jenas to join Aston Villa on a season-long loan
The midfielder arrived at White Hart Lane from Newcastle United in August, 2005 and has gone on to play 201 games in our colours, scoring 26 goals.

Big opportunity this for JJ. He could get the regular games he has missed in the last few seasons, that will ever help him re-establish himself here or help him move on elsewhere. Fail to get in their side and questions have to be asked.

What a twat this player is, invisible for the first 45 minutes and no doubt more of the same for the second half. So glad we got rid of him

jenas made his debut on saturday finally

what did people make of it

Villa fans seemed to like what he did, make a couple good runs and pass the ball around well. Seems about right, he did that well enough for us, he's just not that good at any thing.

It was the greatest moment watching him play for the villans this weekend and proved how misguided so many spurs managers have been to give this guy the time of day. It was also obvious he does not want to be there!!

Heskey and Jenas.. God I would hate to have to support villa

I feel your pain, look on the bright side, Villa still have a great team, but McCliesh is like an italian tank.. 1 forward gear and 5 reverse gears or he is just to stupid to turn the turret 180 degrees

Didn't play on Saturday. Anyone know if he's injured or somehow found his way back to Spurs after the initial month loan?

Played well enough v P'boro last week per BBC

'Camp immediately had to preserve Forest's lead from a Barnett volley, before substitute Jenas thought he had scored his first Forest goal in almost 11 years midway through the second half.
But the on-loan Tottenham midfielder was denied when it was ruled that Billy Sharp had run the ball out of play in the build up.
Camp pushed a long-range effort wide from Danny Swanson, while a Jenas curler was tipped to safety by Olejnik, who saved Simon Cox's rebound and blocked Sharp's shot in injury time'.

OS

Back to Tuesday night's action and Jermaine Jenas came on in the 77th minute as Forest grabbed a last-minute equaliser at Blackpool in the Championship

Sounds like needs to get match fit, otherwise likely he would be starting
