I've never posted this before, as I thought it was actually a bit silly. I have been talking it over with the misses and she thinks I'm crazy, but I don't think I am.

It started way back at the start of last season......

The misses used to go out and leave me in peace to watch the mighty spurs with my beers etc and come back in after it was finished.

Now, I have thought long and hard over this, especially for last season and I can assure you, every time she went out the house we won, without fail.

This season, guess what. She's been in the house in every game we have lost. (Yes she was out when we beat Newc in the cup) I decided to ask her why she is enjoying seeing us at the bottom of the league, she said I'm crazy and she cant control the outcome of a game.

I then cast up all the times she's went out and the times she's stayed in recently and she told me to Foxtrot Oscar.

Am I just a mental ? I do actually believe she is a Jinx ! Guess what, she is going out on Sunday !!

Control your mrs sir henry, get her out the house for the next 3 games and if we have beaten Arsenal at the end of this run.....never ever ever let her in the house whilst a Spurs game is on again.

Throw here out the house for good, we can't keep taking these unnecessary risks in our current predicament!

Slice her tits off Saturday. Operation Sunday. Back home Monday.

Repeat before every game.

Go the whole hog. Build her a shed at the bottom of the garden. It can be her Spurs Shed, a place she goes to when the mighty Spurs are playing. Equip it with knitting magazines and doily patterns and other stuff that women do, and consign her to it every time we play.

Unless she actually has to be out of the house area. In which case, every time Spurs are going to play, pretend to be sick with a rare malady (you can change the illness for variety). Then tell her that you've been looking on the interweb and you've found a rare medicine to treat your unusual, but nevertheless highly life-threatening and contagious, disease but it is only available at a pharmacy on the other side of town (unless you live in a very small village). Also tell her that the medicine can't be jostled too much, so she will have to walk there and back.

If that doesn't work, you must go to Plan C. This involves getting a cat, some fishing wire and a complicated pulley system. Purchase the cat and tie a length of the fishing wire to it's collar. When the time approaches for watching Spurs, loop the fishing wire through the complicated pulley system (www.complicatedpulleysystems-R-us.co.uk) and start yanking the cat around the room. Tell the credulous woman that you recently discovered that your house was built on an ancient Indian burial ground (from a tribe the migrated from the great plains of North America to whatever town it is you live), and that their angry ghosts are restless. Then whip out your Ghostbusters replica Laminated Indentification Card (you do have, don't you?) and tell her you'll be able to deal with them, but that she needs to leave the house so as not to unbalance the cosmic emanantions. Bung her £20 and tell her to go to lunch.

Hope that helps.

I can believe it. Billy Nick's wife, Darkie, was never allowed to go to a game once it was realised that we always lost when she was there...

Spooky eh!

hah that's funny.

i thought sunday was weird.. i was playing footy in the park and nipped home to record the match.. when it got dark i went home ready to enjoy the match and to my horror the sky box was on standby! anyways i played the video of the game wondering if i had got the whole match before sky had decided to turn itself off.. i couldn't believe my eyes when bale got sent off but was really pleased that we were doing ok with ten men, went mental when benty scored and then to my horror (again) on 30 or so minutes the signal on the recording cut - the screen went grey for two seconds and then just black! i couldn't believe it and went on the bbc site to see what had happened, and the match report was just bloody crazy stupid..

all in all very weird! something's going on that is out of all the seemingly responsible people's control. e.g doesn't everybody think that it's weird jenas has surpassed all previous levels of inconsistency this season??!?

where's mr boombakaraboomba when you need him!?

edit: and this is the 13th post FFS :bang:

Sir Henry give her money every match day to go shopping and we will be champions

Well, we won, but now I'm in a dilema, did we win because she was out, or did we win because we changed managers. Hmm.

Well she will be in the house tomorrow but out on Sat for the pool game.

I still think we won because I was unable to go - and despite lending my season ticket to someone else my seat was empty because he couldn't get to the game either. Sorry, but I'll be back on Saturday.
:eek:mg: Just seen my number of posts - now I'm really worried.

Make sure she's got something good to do on Thursday night!

She's out Horse riding this Thursday. And out working at the RSPCA on Saturday but unfortunately in on Sunday unless she has got plans to go out with her mum.
