Tottenham had scouts at the Porto v Estoril game on Wednesday the article says. It then references Pereira, but if we are to believe that is possibly a dead deal, is there anybody else in that game that we may have been keeping an eye on ?
Is Estoril's RB available for £2.50 ? Probably scouting him.

Been the same all summer.
£45-50m for Walker
Pereira £22m - deemed too expensive
Cancelo £25m - deemed too expensive
Toljan - no move, now rumoured Dortmund bound
Heinrichs - no move

We seem out of options for RB signings.
Has Walker-Peters made the club think twice about signing a new RB?

After that performance he might even be pushing Trippier for the starting spot in which case another rb could be overkill - especially with the additional cover that could be provided by dier/Sanchez. No longer a priority position imo.

Christ, he was good, but i'd really hope the club don't think like that. A solid 7/10 against a 10 man Newcastle who showed little to no intent attacking wise. I hope he succeeds and we have the next cafu on our hands, but we all need to calm down a little, for the lads own good.

What a difference a day makes. Let's not get to carried away though. Kyle had an awesome game against a newly promoted team. See what he can do against the likes of Chelscum.

The other RB's we've been linked with, Pereira, Toljan and Heinrichs have all played a fair bit at LB too, which would allow Davies to be considered as a LCB option if required.

If you look at the money we have to spend It would be spread thinly between Barkley, Sanchez, a RB and possible attacking midfielder. I think as others are guessing that KWP will get the nod as back up. Trippier for the big games and save KWP for the lesser teams that won't attack as much.
Which is possibly why the Sanchez deal makes even more sense. His pace will deal with the space left behind Trips or KWP when we're playing 3 at the back. Walker's most missable quality will be his recovery pace, which neither Trips or KWP possess. A rapid RCB takes care of that issue.

Makes a lot of sense will be very interesting to see what this means for Dier?

IMO we're gonna find it difficult to get an attacking midfielder during this window. Looks like Balde was our first choice, but now he's likely heading elsewhere and I don't see many other viable alternatives. Mahrez possibly but would be expensive. Josh King - no thanks.

With that in mind, a right back purchase is not impossible. KWP did well yesterday but I still think we need a signing.

True, I guess things will get really interesting if serious offers come in for Sissoko. I definitely think KWP will have the management team thinking a little differently now though. I guess his ability to cover left and right back will be seen as a massive plus with Rose injured.

Just watched some vids of him. What an intriguing player. I bet he gets fouled to shit. It's like he's trolling the players he passes.

Slinky, slippery, cunning. Fascinating to watch. Incredible balance. Very natural player. Reminds me of Asprilla in the way he progresses the ball; also got a bit of the Lamelas about him.

Final ball could be better, but he's got potential to be sensational.

And after all that I'm still not really sure what to make of him. Weird experience watching him for some reason. lol
