Mentioned by Andy Brassell as someone he would expect AVB to try to bring to Spurs if he gets appointed. Would fit as a Modric replacement.

It's the right time for him to leave the Primeira Liga, but I think bigger clubs will be in for him after the Euros have finished. If the Vertonghen deal appears to have dragged on, then this transfer would take the biscuit; Pinto da Costa and Levy are like two peas in a pod.

I do like that Brassell fella.

Not to derail the topic, but if anyone wants to hear Brassell's views on AVB to Spurs, listen to the latest Radio 5 Live World Football Phone-In podcast (will be available to download/stream until late Friday night). He talks about how AVB and Spurs maybe a better match than AVB Chelsea, similar to the article that was linked on this site last week. The Moutinho quotes come from this program too. Not sure of exact timing, but think it's towards the start of the program. Whole thing is worth a listen, as always!

Moutinho is looking great tonight. He looks feisty enough to compete in the premier league, which is something i've doubted previously.

I suppose it's the AVB connection that would put us in a position to contend for his sig

Really good player. Seems an obvious fit with AVB and all.

Problem is that Porto would want a serious wedge for him I'd think.

I suspect our only way of getting him is if we already have a pre contract in place or are well down the road of negotiations...because his price is going up every minute Portugal remain in this competition.

Would be nice in a three-man midfield with Sandro behind and Sigurdson next to him.

Off to Schalke in all-likelihood, doesn't have a spot in AVB's system, he's a Trequarista only, doesn't do much in other positions.

That corner was definitely Tottenham-class material. You got to ping that first man as hard as you can and as low as you can, give him that dead leg.
