tbf we offered £45m they demanded £65m and Levy knew he would need the £20m to pay off the used to be special one but now is a bit meh

I actually think the pair of them would be a decent match at centre half.

Tanganga and realistically Alderweireld in his last year as cover and coming into a back 3 when needed.

Dier and Sanchez (regrettably) making way to add to the coffers.

You can disagree with that but what is not up for debate is that I took Brentford from the third tier to Champions of Europe in Championship Manager about 25 years ago and our back four was the bedrock for that success. So I know what I am talking about
