I have only vague memories of JH, lost in the mists of time.

RIP

yep sad news and RIP John

remember him from club programmes and handbooks - probably saw him play but couldn't be certain - a great servant to the club and also a reminder of the days when reserve team football was far more important than it is now

I wasn't around in his playing days, but it's always sad to hear when someone associated with Tottenham, or football in general for that matter, dies.

I bet football was so much better then

no clinically clean stadiums, no shitty seats, no ten bob millionaires. These people experienced the best times of the best sport ever.

I've got to say my clearest memory of him is his somehow having his shorts pulled down to his knees in a goalmouth scrimmage and involuntarily mooning the Paxton. Cheers and hilarity all round.

I cant say i remember him, to be honest, but then we never had the coverage of players then as we do today, R.I.P and God bless.
